Pigpen - if it is any consolation mine does exactly the same. He is incapable of using dust sheets, and usually gives me five minutes warning before he starts so not long enough to get anything cleared or covered. On the positive side the labour is cheap! Grinding the bricks back to clean on the snug fireplace was horific, I am still clearning up brick dust three months later. We have found another one behind the perished plaster in the dining room but just can't face the mess at the moment. I filled a midi skip with perished plaster and the modern bricks too.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

He wants one of the wood burning things inthe back room and I keep saying no as it is a room the chilrdren are in ALL the time and I just don't think it will be safe. This is the 4th time he has pulled a wall down.. I am getting bit fed up of it TBH.. the next bestest job he can't wait to do is.... knocking a hole in the ceiling for the new loft hatch for the loft conversion!!!!.. I don't even want to think how far that mess will spread.. there is 150 years of mess in that loft!

Dusty - what are the Boots and Tesco baby coupons for ? I might be able to use them please
I have two in nappies and one in pullups at night and I seem to be using my own bodyweight (and thats considerable) each week in wipes, and of course now we are on solids and whilst I will puree the likes of carrot and parsnip I just cant be faffed with apple and pear so I am lining the pockets of Mr Cow and Mr Gate as I purchase vast quantities of fruit puree a week. No lectures on reusables or the benifts of pureeing ones own apples please

Hi all,
It was gorgeous all weekend in Bournemoouth. DS behaved quite nicely daytimes and surpassed himself for the formal banquet on Saturday night - reception started at 5.30 and he went to bed at 11.
Looked very grown up in his suit and behaved beautifully all night. Handed out lots of heart shaped choocies to the ladies with a serious Happy Valentine's day and got smothered in kisses, had a lovely photo taken of him trying to be James Bond, then sat through a multi-course meal and tried most of it. Was very quick to understand all the standing up and toasting bits. He even then whisked me off for a dance (of sorts) when the meal was over. A very very proud (and relieved) mummy moment.
Just sorting out for school and awaiting my takeaway (sorry far too tired to think about cooking!) and will veg with the coal fire.
Like tomorrow's list - on I go!
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
