Ok, made beds and flung open the windows, I could smell teenies room as soon as I went upstairs so held my nose and flung open his windows too and I don't care how cold it is, it's rank! funny thing is I shoved a neutradol air thingy in there the other day but the stench has over-ridden it and they're strong lol - the joys of him doing (or not) his own room.
Phoned the gas place to see where my new gas card is, it's on it's way 'pparently  filled in a survey off the council  updated my work diary and semi-accounts book (not quite the big/main one IYKWIM) the HB place have sent me a HB form, will I still be entitled to HB/CTB even though I'm working and claiming WTC?- gonna fill it in anyway cause you never know! it's partly done.
I need to S&S my kitchen but it's cold in there so I'm putting it off.0 -
Love the car idea - mine is disgusting - I often joke to my friends they need to wipe their feet when they get out and my sister is disgusted when she moves a booster seat and ends up sitting on sticky toffees in her designer coat!!!
lol that sounds just like our car at the moment, when it get's so bad I call it the mobile skip :rotfl::rotfl:
Jill (((HUGS))) grrrrrrrrrrrr men, why are they so short sighted about things. You have to look at the positives for your own sanity. You have 3 beautiful children who all adore their mummy and a husband who (although he might be being a !!!!!! right now!) who I wouldn't mind betting adores you too. But most importantly you should love yourself and like yourself for who you are. Look at what you have achieved with your life so far and think about all the joys the future will bring. I wish I could wave a magic wand to make things better now. Believe in yourself and you will get through this tough time.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
JillD - meant to add that DH now says he was a complete selfish t.w.@.t .when the littles were babies (Only an 18 month gap between them so understand where you are coming from on the whole nappy changing thing). He says he cannot understand why I stayed or didnt tell him to sod off. I finally threatened to write into that "mums on strike" programme which would have left him with the kids alone for 2 days - things improved from that day;) .
Right update, I have:-
Made coffee cake, filled and iced (put 2 tablespoons of coffee in instead of teaspoons:o - still if no-one else will scoff it I will;) )
Shortbread x 2 made
Made shortbread teddies with left over dough
Apple braid dough in BM
Kitchen tidied up and dishes done
About to put ham on (part boil then roast)
Washing out of machine will try pegging it out
Do you think i should do the tuna mayo and egg mayo in the morning or will they be fine over night in the fridge? We need to be at MIL before 12 so will have littles to get ready and sausage rolls to cook off etc so trying to get ahead.
Solway - re the hanging wet curtains and nets I do it all the time, usually open the window and you get the nice fresh washing smell wafting through the house.0 -
