You couldn't make us sad.. you do too many silly things that make us laugh for that!! :p

DH is a big part of your life and makes you who you are.. and we appreciate that, the same as you accept us saying what huge pains our hubbys are. You are always really supportive of everyone and we can do that for you too and I hope we do!

Why thank you Miss Pigpen :D I am the queen of silly things! And yes you are all supportive of us 3

Hi ssl, lovely to have you here all day, but hope that you feel better very soon!

JillD - I posted on the last thread, but think you may have missed it. I'm really sorry that you're feeling so low. It is terrifically hard work looking after little ones. It's no coincidence that I am only a flylady now that mine are 13,15 and 17! I didn't do anything but crisis management for years when they were little. I think it probably would be worth going back to your GP,not because I think you're failing, but because there may be some underlying health issue. Do you have family or friends nearby for support? If so, exploit them shamelessly! See if you can find a little treat for yourself today, and perhaps work out a minimum essential list - and just do that. I remember before your baby was born that your list was longer than I usually manage in a month! Perhaps there are things on there that are not worth the effort right now. Big hugs to be going on with.

I'm still full of cold, but getting better... did the kitchen to about level 2.5, and then went over to a friend's for coffee and a walk round her large and beautiful garden in the sunshine. She has a large collection of special snowdrops and we had a lovely time admiring them! Off to do a bit in my garden now.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be

    Hello all!

I love this weather it is so motivating!

Anw - you certainly don't make us sad - and you always have excellent advice for people - hope we are there for you like you are for us!

SSL - hope you feel better now you know you have some time to yourself if work was the problem xx - I am curious to what a Strawberry is though??

Tracy - big hugs to poorly DS - boys are so bad at being poorly! (then they grow into menand are even worse!LOL!) - just hope he is ok and you manage to get some rest.

Mudbath - glad doggie is ok

Can't remember other things so hugs etc!

Have had a productive morning -

Done HHE by walking with pram to my sisters with her birthday cards!

WM x 2 - one load on line, on load on airers

    Hoovered all downstairs and sofas

Made flapjacks for pack ups this week

Cleaned my front door as I don't have a porch - inside and out - it's white and was very grimy!!
  • I am doing things, but i feel progress is slower than i wanted. I have spent a lot more time on the computer than i wanted to.

So i am going to do a HHC 1:30 to 2:00 once i have finished my lunch and see where i get, cos otherwise the day will disappear from me. Then i will spend a couple of hours on the school work and get some veg peeled for dinner etc. etc. So i can relax again this evening. Sounds like a plan to me.

Ok results of my challenge, more like 45 minutes than 30 though:
    • kitchen sink and draining board cleaned
    • plastic draining rack washed
    • cutlery drawer emptied, threw out some stuff, cleaned the plastic divider, cleaned the drawer, all of the stuff we were keeping put back
    • washed up breakie and lunch dishes, now draining, as well as mucky cutlery in the drawer
    • top of grill cleaned - didn't manage it very well as it was very grimy and my old scourer had lost its scrub, as had i by then
    • WM drawer cleaned out
    • WM emptied, and reloaded with a load to go on tomorrow
    • one kitchen bench completely emptied and scrubbed
so not bad, nothing off today's list, but i feel better which is the main thing. ;)

Just having a cuppa now before the school work gets started.

Forgot to add - well done Tracy on standing up for yourself - had an incident when LO was first born and we had to stay in hospital that was similar - won't bore you with details but midwives were very proud of me for standing up to an obnoxious jobsworth doctor!!

got about 4 mins til I need to leave for school but am having a :coffee: and a bit of a catch up. Am feeling a bit better today though have had one teary episode - got to garage across town after school drop off, with numbes 2 and 3 in tow, to leave car in for MOT and service. They had a courtesy car for me but needed me to bring my driving licence - except they hadnt told me so I didnt have it with me  Should have realised myself anyway. So I had to come all the way home (bawling my eyes out) and go all the way back again. That made us late for DD1 swimming lesson so we didnt bother but the upside was that the creche had room for her as well as the baby so I put them both in and sat in the cafe with a couple of friends and had a good old moan.

So for all you lovelies who made me feel better last night and said I shoudl try and do something for myself each day - the cafe for a bit was it today!

I've also decided to unsuspend a membership I had for nirvana spa (see http://www.nirvanaspa.co.uk/). Its is literally two minutes drive from my house and for £20 a month you get to go for one evening per month and it is sheer bliss. I usually go with a friend and even if we just sit on sun loungers all night chatting and drinking coffee and reading OK and Hello its money well spent for the escapism. So I will phone them later and get that started again. Hubs can go stuff himself if he has a prob with it.

Right better knock back the :coffee: gotta go get DS
Will catch up properly and reply to everyone properly later, but thanks again for everyones hugs and advice aqnd support

Just spend a tedious couple of minutes tracking through my wilkos purchases for the quidco cup. Luckily I kept the order confirmations so know my order numbers - 4 orders, £300 plus.

grrr - this annoys me - why do we have to provide them with info when their system is rubbish.

I sent the email to them, but basically, as my one order for 100 pounds had tracked, and my delivery had no problems, i didn't see the point in keeping the delivery receipt or the email with the number on. So, i can't tell them the order numbers. If they don't count my order in with our group total it is going to make me so mad.

fellow flylady cup members. I'm expecting you will have an email too asking you to send some info to quidco before wednesday.

Michelle.. I was just sorting mine too.. if you registered on the wilkinsons site they have the order details on there.. but I don't see why they need them.. especially for the things which tracked.. it is so easy to say oh yes I kept everything even if you sent it all back.. they wouldn't know!! Gggrrrrr ... I can see this making a lot of people cross.. but hopefully the ones who spoiled it for everyone else by ordering massive amounts will get caught out!

And I am just glad I don't have Lil_me's £8000 of orders to check through.. ROFL!!! Need any help??

    Come on then.. HHC everyone???

I don't feel like I've done anything today..
