Ah back in and not having to go out again today.

Promised kids pancakes for tea so just need to go and lock side shed and then make some batter.

Really pleased with my flying today - even if I haven't started the official list.

SSL I have felt so much better since my sobbing session, but I was exhausted after it, hope it has the same affect on you in a day or too x

Can any of you use extra point tesco coupons on baby products?

JillD - I go to Nirvana once a month and it is a GODSEND! Me and a few close mates go to get away from normal hectic life. I always have their Chicken Caesar Salad (Mmmmm) and their chilli cheese from the salad bar is made in heaven (I swear). Hope you get your membership sorted out! You've got me all excited now - I've got my next visit booked in for end of Feb so, very excited!!! Mmmmm - Chilli cheese...... *drooles into keyboard*

***OOOOOh*** I'm livid! My d-i-l has just asked if me if I knew a red fiat parks on my driveway on a Thursday morning. It may park up other mornings, but that's the only morning she doesn't leave the house about the same time as me.

The cheek of that car driver!

Tomorrow I'm launching 'Operation Red Fi-art'. As you know, I'm working from home tomorrow so what I'll do is pretend to go to work about the same time and park the car around the corner. Then, if the old Fi-art parks on my drive, wait for him/her to go to whereever they go and then whip the car back and park it across the drive blocking them in.

I might then become selectively deaf and not hear the doorbell ring which it's bound to......

Or is that over-reactive of me?

Have to dash to my meeting now, but would appreciate your thoughts.

Sounds entirely reasonable to me soappie;)

  • A little longer than half an hour but the curtains are pressed, sort of, and rehung. I've put the heating on for an hour and the waft in the livingroom is lovely. S&S in the kitchen too and hunted out something for my tea.
SSL, that's the kind of gardening I do too. Leaf clearing, troweling up dandelions and lopping randomly at overgrown stuff. I'm probably not meant to be doing it at this time of year but I can't get at it once things are in leaf! If pretty things come up so much the better but I rarely plan or plant unless I've got freebies off folk. Enjoy it tomorrow if you're up to it.

Has anyone heard from Liloandstitch lately? I may just have missed her saying she wasn't going to be around of course.

    Hello
I've done soooooooooooo much today......(if you don't read on now you'll all be really impressed with me)..............

.................Ok, i've done nothing! We took our doglet for a long walk by the canal with the children as we really thought we were going to get bad news today. They're not jumping on the trampoline (children not the dog!) and i've also done 5mGC x 25 as spent loads of time out there tidying up.

A lovely, lovely day, please don't shout at me pigpen!

Oh, I never said, the 60s party was really fab on Saturday night. Everyone made a real effort and it was a fantastic party.

Jill - brilliant news about taking some me time! You so deserve it xx
  • Soappie, I don't think that's unreasonable of you. Cheeky of them, yes.. If it's no parking round your way I'd ask if they'd like to pay monthly or weekly..Someone has been putting little bags of dog poo daily in my dustbin which I don't mind but I'd rather they took it home for their own bin!

  • Evening everyone, still working on todays list but feel so disheartened-I love my woodburner but it's soooo mucky, white living room walls are going gray with sooty dust and it doesn't wash off-just smears around:mad: desperately needs decorated but just no cash at the mo, I've put the cream curtains in the WM, they were flecked with soot, every day leaves a new layer of black dust on everything:mad:
have cleaned window, door and frames, in and out- oh has anyone got a tip for removing the lacquer (?sp) they put on brass door fittings, they need polished as have gone discoloured.
Anyway, sorry about that, will get on and hoover now as DH out of bed and off to work
    see you laters
