I have now called the head office who have opened a complaint file for me. The lady I spoke to thought it really bad that they are advetising goods they dont have in stock. I have ordered the ben nevis twice now when showing as available and twice when I have called I cannot be found on the sysyem and fobbed off.
My credit card company have confirmed they have applied for the money but it has not gone thru as yet!!! I will post again when head offoce come back to me.

I have called customer services who have said that if they were not going to get any more of these in stock they would be taken off the internet and not just show out of stock.

They also said they have no way of checking when they will come back into stock.

Very frustrating and doubt very much will get one of these but will just keep checking every day just in case.

Just had a call from a very harrassed sounding female from DIY.com saying that they are not getting any more Ben Nevis units in and they offered me the Matterhorn unit which is coming back in to stock next week. Extra £50 but still a bargain :T

my first post (but have browsed site for a month or so now) - just to say that this original post is amazing - I acted on it pretty much straight away (placed order 7:30am 20th) - and like most people went for the Ben Nevis play centre. Usual story of order not being on system, provided my cc details again yesterday. Just spoke with diy.com and they have assured me that I will still be getting the Ben Nevis playcentre and to expect a call next week.... let's see what happens...

i just got a call aswell from them and they also offered me the Mattertorn as the Ben Nevis is out of stock however they said they would give it to me for the same price £149... thats a bargain.... :-))

we've been offered the matterhorn too.
Going to go for it.
Slightly larger than our garden can handle, but i'm sure we can adapt, and still got to be cheaper than buying everything separately!

I did like the ben nevis though!

forgot to say we were offered it at the same price as ben nevis. :beer:
