    I've been Money Tipped!
    I have found a way to speak to someone who you can complain to. Call head office on 02380 256256 switch board. Say you want to make a complaint. You will be put through to a sympathetic customer sevice person. They open a complaint file and give you a ref number. This then has to be followed through properly and they, not the online people will come back to you. I have made 12 calls in all to various departments and this seems to be the best route to get resolved. They say I have Either a Ben nevis or alternative allacated to me even though nobody from dot com has come back to me as they keep saying they will when I call.

    Thanks for that I have just called and spoke to someone who said they would follow up unfortunately doesn't look like I will get one and have not been offered an alternative. I spoke to trading standards who tell me that there only obligated to give me a refund. Have phoned a store in the hope of getting one from them but no luck. Let us know how you get on.

    Just confirmed my order went through OK (made last weekend) - as I never received a confirmation email. It has and they are delivering soon.

    Where to begin with this sorry saga!! Ordered Ben Nevis 9.30 on Monday 18th July received e-mailed confirmation. Received phone call on Tuesday saying more stock was coming in would be an extra week before delivery did I still want to proceed if so give cc details. I phoned back to do this and was assured order would be processed when new stock was received. After reading forum made several phone calls to confirm everything ok and was told if I had gicen cc details it would be fine and the next call I would receive would be confirmation of delivery date. I received an e-mail tonight at 5.30 saying Ben nevis now out of stock so order can not be fulfilled. Will phone customer services tomorrow to try to make some sense of this - sounds like a major !!!! up all round - i hope you guys fare better than this. :mad:

    Amazing how the same call centre can have so many different versions of a story. I have now dialled the 0870 no. 3 times, & have been told on each occasion that they are getting more stock of the Ben Nevis play centre & I will definitely receive one. They just aren't sure when the stock will arrive. However all orders have apparently been taken off the system and they are ringing round everyone who ordered to sort out what is happening. Has anyone else been told this? I am not convinced, especially after reading the messages on here. By the way I ordered it on Monday but as usual they had no record of my order so it was re-input on to their system yesterday.

    Update: Just rang the customer complaints line - no more stock - can only apologise etc etc. Useless. Now I've got to phone tomorrow to sort out a refund I suppose. Stroppy letter on its way........

    What happened to the Contract; isnt "loss of bargain" usually cited in this case?
