believe it or not the best place is B&Q for play sand they do bigger bags i think they are 25kg size, and they are about £3.50 i think Hope that helps

avoid builders sand as it is quite sharp and not recommended proper play sand is best.

Wickes isnt bad for playsand as well, when I got mine at the beginning og the year it was the cheapest around...

Phoned 0870 number to confirm my confirmation email re the Ben Nevis. The lady said their was a snitch in the system and orders were taken when it should have said sold out.
There is someone who is dealing with this and I should receive a phone call today or tomorrow. No suprise there then!!

Got some playsand from B&Q at the weekend £3.98 for 25kg bags (Argos advertise as cheaper but the bags are smaller 15kg)

hope you have better luck than us .. we ordered a ladder to come and email confirmed delivery today (wed) when didnt turn up we phoned to be told they had infact put it down to be delivered tomorrow.. which is no good as no one going to be in.. so if i was you on the morn its supposed to be delivered just phone and check..

It just says temporarily out of stock when I look up any of the cheap stuff. Does that mean I am too late or is there still away?
