i ordered mine-ben nevis- at about 6.30am yesterday morning and recieved confirmation email immediately.
after reading these posts i rang b+q in a panic........they had record of my order and assured me i would get it and my details were being passed to delivery which takes 2-3 days.he gave me their number and i rang but they hadnt got my details yet,the lady there told me they should recieve them tomorrow so here's hoping.....my credit card hasnt been charged yet.

was it only people who ordered this morning that got the phone calls?

i did exactly same as learningtosave 6.30am yesterday but my card wasnt debited till teatime tonight, thats when i rand B&Q when i was sure they had my money - so sit tight check your card then call them it is misleading for the site to say temporarily out of stock if they arent getting any more surely "no longer availiable" would be better

I have called B&Q again and now getting a completly diferant answer than last time.

I am desperate to get the McKinley and so asked the adviser when they were going to come back in . He said he had no idea and can't tell me when.Maybe in 2 weeks!!

He also said he had heard that they were going to get loads of Ben Nevis's in at the end of the week.

I have a feeling that as soon as all the stock comes in the offer will finish as both the advisors said that these are not clearance items.

just had the call told ill be getting my ben nevis on the 28th.so it looks like ill av to stick with that.i wouldnt mind they were all still there wen i orded so i could have had any i wanted...damn

For the record I ordered Friday pm.

Placed order on Friday night, got confirmation e-mail almost immediately, thought nothing of it until started to read about the cancellations of orders today so gave them a ring on the 0800 number, was told they had my order (received Saturday) and passed to delivery company this morning and should expect a call in 48 to 72 hours from them. Received the call this evening arranging delivery date for the 28th, guess what I'll be doing next Friday. Very happy, thanks to OP once again.

Forgot to add, have just cast my vote for post of the month.

The money is showing as "unposted" on my account....... not all banks show money going out instantly....... depends on when the order was placed etc. (Banks are funny things!)
