    I know this isn't the right place, but have asked on the I wanna do it board and no-one knows. Can anyone suggest somewhere to buy cheap play bark from. (I'm in Leics.) Need it to go under my new B & Q play centre!! About 1.3m cubed!!

    First post so here goes.

    I ordered a Ben Nevis playhouse early yesterday (20/07) and received an email confirmation. About 6.00pm I followed most people's advice and called B&Q to check delivery etc only to be told my card had not been charged and that the playhouse was out of stock. I gave the card number again (odd to have to do so considering the email confirmation contained the last 4 digits???).

    I asked if I could upgrade the order to their massive playhouse (just under £200) and was told this entailed cancelling the order for the Ben Nevis (obligation gone to get it at big discount I would guess) and "hope" the larger model gets back in stock in the future (at a discount)..............how likely is that then....................is that a pig i see flying above my monitor?

    Has anyone got any experience of "upgrading" under these circumstances with B and Q?

    I ordered this on Monday & my card was debited on Monday. Hadn't had a phone call about delivery so have just phoned the 0870 no. Was told there was no record of my order. They took my details again - including card details supposedly to put them back on to the system. Was assured they are getting more in at the end of the week & I will be getting one of those..........

    Courtesy of Nagety earlier post,just been on the free phone 0800 3895516 to B&Q Direct. My order has been sent to 'Home deliveries' on 01902604010. They would usually phone to arrange delivery date but their systems have been down since last night. Staff could not confirm my exact delivery date but at least I know that my order has been processed.
    Do you make things happen, watch things happen, or just wonder, what happened?

    Money has been debited from my account, rang the 0800 number my order number is not showing :mad: , rang the 0870 nothing showing :mad:

    Details taken once again ! I'm now waiting for a phone call back :rolleyes:

    Edit; 10:40 I rang them again and they took my details once again...not looking good :confused:

    I too was getting a little worried - I ordered early Saturday - as it's the only morning I really get to read any of MSE site.
    Just had phone call to say delivery will be next Wednesday and they will send a card through the post to confirm am/pm!
    So how do we vote for post of the month?

    you can nominate somebody for post of the month here but it isn't a vote. Martin decides who he feels should receive the post of the month based on many different things, not just that it's a bargain :)

    Oh bummer!

    Have just spoken to Customer Services who have informed me that all discounted play centres are out of stock now and they won't be getting anymore in till next year (don't know how it affects you if you've already placed the order though).
    She said reason so discounted was because they had very little stock to start with.
