Mines coming on Friday - Comic, is it easy to assemble or haven't you got round to it yet!0

its german , a plum ..... and the assy is lengthy , but made easier because of the quality of this table .
mine had a few very light scratches to the surface but given the hardship that its going to get i wasnt worried .
someone said on here that wouldnt be happy with paying 90 odd quid for this table , believe me its worth the 400 list price
top quality german brand ..... took 4 hours to assemble , be very careful that you put the wheels on the right way around ,the instructions misled me so i didnt and it cost me an hour sorting them out as i had a nightmare pulling out the leg protectors
97 quid ........ bloody hell still cant believe it , many thanks again to the originator , my teenage lads are over the moon and have suddenly gained some new friends.
well pleased .0 -
This is not coming to me. After the kays cast iron bench fiasco and now this I wonder if any of these companies supply anything they say. I also just tried to order a plasma telly off ebuyer, that was on this site, I cannot enter payment details. I telephoned them and there is an answer message then the line goes dead.
I almost feel like paying RRP for the rest of my life.S!!!!horpe0 -
Just had a phone call of B&Q stating that the item has gone out of stock and has been discountinued. I was expecting delivery on Monday. Payment was taken from my credit card over two weeks ago. It states on the site that the payment forms a legally binding contract.
Surely B&Q cannot do this once payment has been taken - especially 2 weeks later. This really is taking the P$ss. Anyone know where I stand legally?
Asked for compensation and they wouldn't have any of it. Not might fault they cant control their stock system. Is it worth contacting trading standards?
Another p$ss take is that they take up to 28 days to refund the money!!!!

On the phone now fillng in despute claim with credit card company !!!! *** FUMING !!! *** Any other advise welcomed please !!0

Will that do any good? Isnt it the same as B&Q refunding - which they will do.
I dont want a refund - I want the goods - so told them on the phone, I am not accepting refund - even though they are doing it anyway!
As far as I am concerned, they should either compensate, or supply the goods from a competitor - at the competitors prices. To Stooze or Not To Stooze - Theres only one option

Like you, I don't want a refund, I want ( and expect ) the goods, an alternative or compensation.
We've all had confirmation emails/numbers etc, payments taken *2 weeks ago* and I've had telephone conversations *confirming* the orders and postcards delivered *confirming* the delivery.
I'm being told that because I had to phone and delay my delivery by a couple of days, I missed out on stock !! My friend who purchased after me has taken reciept !! Surely, if their stupid stock alocation exists then I should have been advised that by delaying my delivery I was risking not receiving the item ??!!!
It's all !!!!!!.0 -
