    Yes... with sauce hehehe...
    Joking aside then they do really need some kind of sauce to go with them unless you serve them up as a snack or as part of a buffet (that's what us Scandinavians do with them to be honest). I'd suggest using some juices from maybe cooking somethign in the SC? and then sticcking it in a pan and reduce it and then add flour till it's a fair consistency... We usually ad a colourant to the sauce to give a nice brown colour but that is entirely optional :)

    I would probably make a tomato & herb sauce and serve with pasta?
    I'm sure more know;edgable people will be along soon to give more creative ideas :p

    I usually do serve them with the ikea gravy sauce so wanted some different ideas

    how about making up a gravey and flavouring it with garlic or herbs?

    I usually serve swedish meatballs with chips/wedges and "salsa" (chopped pepper, onion, tomatoes, garlic, chilli, honey, S+P. Fried for around ten mins in a saucepan).

    A tip I was given was to cook them in gravy (Bisto is fine) to keep them moist.

    Add Pasata, herbs, chopped peppers then in the oven until nicely done. MMMmmm.

    I love them with mash, grated cheese and jam!!! - mmmm - must have a look and see if there are any lurking in my freezer!!
