Meatballs (and sauces)

Yes... with sauce hehehe...
Joking aside then they do really need some kind of sauce to go with them unless you serve them up as a snack or as part of a buffet (that's what us Scandinavians do with them to be honest). I'd suggest using some juices from maybe cooking somethign in the SC? and then sticcking it in a pan and reduce it and then add flour till it's a fair consistency... We usually ad a colourant to the sauce to give a nice brown colour but that is entirely optionalDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I usually serve swedish meatballs with chips/wedges and "salsa" (chopped pepper, onion, tomatoes, garlic, chilli, honey, S+P. Fried for around ten mins in a saucepan).0

My kids just love them with ketchup!!!!
A tip I was given was to cook them in gravy (Bisto is fine) to keep them moist.I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -
