biglugs wrote:Because Dell are offering £70.50 discount if you buy selected models costing in total more than £650. BUT there is a bug on their site and if you buy a Dimension AND a laptop then they are giving £70.50 discount off EACH machine. So you buy the machine with the 17" TFT (D-D07302a) and a laptop then you get the Dimension machine for £226.
OR do what I did (if you're feeling brave) - I ordered the Dimension and Laptop but changed the Dimension processor to a 2.8GHz Pentium 4, giving a cost of £233.80 for that and about £370 for the laptop. After my order was placed I IMMEDIATELY cancelled the laptop order and Dell have only charged me the £233.80 for the Dimension with a 17" flat screen. (NOTE: most reviews I've seen say that this is a 25ms response time NOT the 16ms claimed by Dell).

Has anybody else received this?
If you placed more than 1 order for the same or very near the same items within a short period they send this out to make sure you did mean to order several items. But for just 1 of each its not so usual that I know of.
How many did you really orderAll Dell'd upseveral times over
