Works out £291.40 with del & VAT...

Go through the Dell home site and follow the instructions on the orginal thread and you will get the correct price.

However I would advise that you spent an extra £60 and go for this deal

as it includes a 17" TFT Flatscreen and a far superior processor

(all the wise money is on this one)

Dell are offering £70.50 off purchases over £650 so you can now get 3 of these systems for just £210 each

If you buy the Dimension 3000 + 17 TFT Monitor evalue code d-d07302a

and buy the Inspiron Laptop evalue code n-n07605 you can get both systems for a total of £592.48 delivered

This is because Dell are offering £70.50 off purchases over £650 up until 18 july in addition to all their other offers + they are mispricing and taking the £70.50 off each of the Dimension and the Laptop instead of the total purchase cost so get in there quick

You can also get cashback making it even cheaper

Excellent combo offer of the laptop and PC. Just went for it there now, hopefully Dell will honour it....

I ordered these two as well - got two separate confirmation emails, one for each machine. Do you think they'll let me cancel the Notebook and just keep the Dimension 3000 at £233.81???!

    No chance...says this in T&C's

If any part of order is cancelled after purchase, which affects the total order value, Extra £70* will be withdrawn. Pricing, specifications, availability, and terms of offer may change without notice. Dell cannot be responsible for errors in typography or photography. Products were subject to different promotional offers in previous weeks. Offer due to end 18/07/05

But the £70 will be withdrawn! - from the laptop if I cancel it! Might give it a go and see what happens. Worst comes to the worst I just won't get my orders, best outcome I get a £233 3000, middle road outcome I get a PC (sell base unit and keep the TFT) and my wife gets a laptop.

It would be very unusual for Dell not to honour it ;)
