Its cheaper than moving house too! Nice thought though every time you out grew your current house you could just get another at the touch of a button!

i have just photocopied my letters to send to my creditors and was just wandering how much i should send as a token payment to each one. also, should i send the letter and token payment for my overdrafts?

lady from DMP told me anything from £2 ... but i cant even afford 6 (number of creditors) x £2 plus recorded del plus postal order charges, so im sending £1Sealed Pot dec 08 - dec 09 so far £27.67, Live off £4k Spent £330.20 GC £1,200 for 2009 Spent £50.78 PaD so far £650.07Debts: L/woods £154.00 C/One PAID O/D £649.90 Next £299.95 O/D PAID Gas £72.60 Electric £155.73 Mum £640.00 Orange £490.320

£1 for each creditor will be OK as a token payment.
Ask at the post office the difference between a postal order and recorded delivery, send by which ever is the cheapest.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

thanks for the info. what about my overdraft accounts? i've never made any regular payments towards them, and should i send them the letter saying i'm doing a dmp?0
