    another new home ive moved 3 times in a year now lol

    im still plodding along on my dmp and just pop in now and then hi to all new members:T

    Its cheaper than moving house too! Nice thought though every time you out grew your current house you could just get another at the touch of a button!

  • i have just photocopied my letters to send to my creditors and was just wandering how much i should send as a token payment to each one. also, should i send the letter and token payment for my overdrafts?

    lady from DMP told me anything from £2 ... but i cant even afford 6 (number of creditors) x £2 plus recorded del plus postal order charges, so im sending £1
    Sealed Pot dec 08 - dec 09 so far £27.67, Live off £4k Spent £330.20 GC £1,200 for 2009 Spent £50.78 PaD so far £650.07
    Debts: L/woods £154.00 C/One PAID O/D £649.90 Next £299.95 O/D PAID Gas £72.60 Electric £155.73 Mum £640.00 Orange £490.32

    incase your creditors say they have not recieved the photocopy of your dmp plan.

    how much does recorded delivery cost?

    for a small letter so say your dmp plan folded in half - so that size i think its £1.04 maybe a few pence more.

    Hi Mummy

    £1 for each creditor will be OK as a token payment.

    Ask at the post office the difference between a postal order and recorded delivery, send by which ever is the cheapest.

  • thanks for the info. what about my overdraft accounts? i've never made any regular payments towards them, and should i send them the letter saying i'm doing a dmp?
