Hi
Have you just started a DMP? or has it been runnung for a while?Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0 -
We have been on a DMP for four months now, we have 15:eek: creditors and all except one [Halifax CC  ] have agreed to DMP and stopped charges and interest. Even MBNA have now agreed for 1 year.
Phone calls stopped after the first six weeks and going on a DMP has been the best decision that we have ever made. I only wish we had done it sooner!
Good luck to all who are just starting on a DMP0 -
Oh My God!!!
I can't believe I missed my smilealot!!!!
Hope everyone is ok and welcome to all our new members:beer:
my first DMP payment was a year ago on the first of march and I remember soooo well how frightened I was when I first took this route the uncertainty of what was going to happen nearly finished me off completely.
But a year on things are great in teecee world! (still haven't found a man though so must work on that one:rotfl: )
Things may not have been so easy if I hadn't had smile, kelly, ex spendaholic, Ida, my lovely joek and others (you know who you are!) to talk to.
Having somewhere to vent, share and talk through your worries, where you will not be judged makes a whole lot of difference.
To all those starting their journey,
I'M REALLY PROUD OF YOU!!
Hang In There!!

hi all, I'm on a DMP which I negotiated myself (with Cahoot) using CCCS paperwork; I've been on it over two years now, and interest is still frozen, and I've never had any problems at all from them, or any review (but that could be because of my circumstances; I made it very clear that I wouldn't be able to pay anymore until I had finished my studies; I'm a full time student).
My debts to cahoot consist of a credit card and loan debt; the credit card debt is now quite small; 380. When I get my final student loan/grant payment, I think I could pay off 300 of this; do you think it is worth my offering 300 as a full and final settlement; are they likely to say yes given that the loan would still be there does anyone know?0 -
Hi Raquela
I have debts with cahoot and they have been very understanding.
When I contacted them about full and finalsettlements they wanted at least 75%. It may be worth asking them if they will accept your offer. They can only say no0 -
Can I join too, please? DH on DMP with Payplan ~ roughly 30 years to go!! Lots of credit card/loan debts plus one consolidation loan.
All debt in in his name but what the hell ~ we are a partnership!

Hi
member 112 just dropping in
This has been my first month on my DMP with CCCS, Lloyds TSb have been calling every day even though they have been asked not to call. Will wait to see if it calms down once they recieve payment on the 25th or I will have to send them a shirty letter! I think they are going to cause me a few problems, but then they cause me a few debts (by giving me money they knew i couldnt afford to pay back).
Im just so pleased I am now paying it back and im in charge of my finances once more.
Has anyone else had problems with Lloyds TSB?Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime
Finally dealing with my whopping debt!0
