    Hi YM,
I'm with CCCS and they send you a letter reminding you a few weeks before it's due.

We all forgot about putting the clocks forward until just before bedtime, then frantically ran round the house changeing them all! Am looking forward to the lighter evenings.

We had another letter from Cabot about our debt to Goldfish. It was such a nice letter and they sounded so helpful and concerned
They say the most important thing we can do is to phone and speak to one of their trained experienced advisors ;)
Have written back thanking them for their lovely letter. Have said that written communication is so much more desirable as there can be no misunderstandings about what has been said :D:D

Hi Janey, before Cabot took your Goldfish account did they pass it to Apex Credit Mgt? Mine was passed to them last week and I've already received the letter re 'a man will come and visit'. Yeah, we'll see about that! PP have it all in hand anyway so we'll just have to see how it pans out...........

    Morning YM!

You need to log on to your Justabank.co.uk account and you'll see a message on the front page asking you to call them. I didn't log on very often, so think the message may have been on there for a few weeks before I got round to contacting them. They weren't too bothered though.

How're you? Do you think your figures will change much in the review? You still meal planning? I never did get the hang of that and there's only me to feed nevermind a family so I was always very impressed by your efforts. Hope Mrs YM and the mini-YMs are well.

    Hi Smiley :hello:

Things are well Ta. Just dreading my review a bit I suppose. Would be nice to stay in the Status Quo and not have to explain my shortcomings and indescretions from my financial mis managment's from the past. I can up it a bit and it would be nice to pay it off quicker. Nice to hear from you. Are you well ??. All the monkeys are fine and I am cooking a nice roast dinner.

    Hello all

I have put this on the main board but wondered if anyone knows the answer as it is related to my DMP. I have opened new bank accounts for me and DH with Alliance & Leicester but have just realised that they have links with MBNA with whom we have two cc's. Does this matter? MBNA can't take money from your account can they (like LLOYDS TSB can if you bank with them and have debts with them)? The cc's are with MBNA directly rather than through any subsiduries and obviously we don't have any debts with A&L. (i think!) Main creditors are Lloyds, Egg, NR, MBNA, and HSBC - you know all the really nice people!
  • Hi loopy I also opened an Alliance and Leicester account through Quidco(got £50 cashback very handy)my old account was with RBS and as I had 3 cards with them had to move, anyway I also forgot that MBNA are linked to Alliance&Leicester!
A few weeks ago I looked at my account online and MBNA had taken out most of the money as I had a credit card with them!
I complained and was basically told tough, also I opted for Alliance to transfer over my Direct Debits etc,it`s taken them 4 months!!!
And in that time I`ve had my old account go overdrawn because companies kept trying to take out DD out of the RBS account,I even had to get rid of all my DD myself and start a fresh amid loads of threating letters off creditors.

So MMBA did take money from your A&L account? S**t!. Just when I thought I had everything sorted! I have just read MNBA T&C and can't see anywhere in there that they have the right to take money from a c/a?

What did you do - are still with A&L or have you gone elsewhere?

Sorry forget to say - any idea who I CAN open a bank account with? Was thinking Natwest or Nationwide - are they linked to anyone?
