Had £7 left from food budget this month and instead of putting it towards paying debts I spent it on a bottle of wine and fish and chips last night:mad:

That would only buy fish and chips down souf :rotfl:

Ha, ha - it would buy a meal for two at a posh restaurant in bonnie Scotland (I wish!).

I know completely what you mean teecee, life is much moe predictable on the DMP as we pay the same amount each month, so I find myself slipping back into old habits, buying clothes, spending lots of presents, buying nice food at Fresco (sorry - been watching Corrie!). I took lots of stuff back to the shops yesterday as I had a reality check and was shocked to realise it came to almost half mony monthly DMP payment!! I used to be in the £2 savers club etc, but it's all stopped. I need to be much more penny pinching and I think having a target of saving for a F&F is a good one, which is why I'd added a savings bit to my signature :)

And well deserved medals too - you've been so supportive of not just us, but so many others. I remember so well when you joined this group YM, it was a great feeling for me to be able to give advice to someone else, made me feel like I'd come so far in my own battle.

I wonder how Joek is getting on teecee. Hope he's still on the wagon. I'll never forget one night we were all chatting on here, I had tears running down my face and it was during the worst time of getting things up and running and getting creditor calls. It was such light relief!

I don't know what i would have done without you two in the early days, like you, no-one knew about my debts and it was such a relief to find somewhere that I could talk about it, have a laugh and feel almost normal for a while. I hope Joek is well and sorting out his troubles. Maybe he still lurks around (he was always good at that:rotfl: ) and who knows maybe one day we will hear from him and the unholy trio will be resurrected.
