Long day at work today then get dd organised and out to Brownies, it's all go! Need to look at my menu planner (thought you'd be impressed I'm finally doing it!) and see what we're having tonight. Actually remember left over pasta and bits! Must go and cook DS's porridge and do the packed lunches just want to read my book really!

Will tape ashes to ashes tonight as it's my fat club and probably the last one before we go on hols next Thurday. Anyone got any top tips for packing/hols etc etc??!!

I leave work Friday lunchtime to travel down and will get home early evening Sunday, hopefully sane and refreshed. I'll leave DH a list of housework he needs to do while I'm away, otherwise he'll spend 48 hours on the computer and do absolutely nothing.

Hope the retreat goes well Sola. I have a feeling I know what decisions you will make then (or not long thereafter)...and I hope it works out well for you.

Well I've read the thread-gonna be late for work now-good job I work with my OH. Just hope traffic isn't bad. Can't go yet anyway as tumbledryer hasn't finished. Got tonnes to do today -again!!! OH forgot to cancel a couple of dds and naughty company have taken them so Mortgage payment has been declined :mad: But the bank did manage to charge us over £40 for this :mad: So got to sort it all out today. No point in trying to make overpayments if monthly premium doesn't go out when it should. no doubt OHs name will be blackened for making late payment. And Sol wants another grand within a month-it doesn't just rain it pours!!!
OK rant over-for now. Better get ready and go or there won't be anywhere to park!!!

Working away in Welsh Wales again this week so its hotel living (ie no DW,WM or batch cooking - oh how i miss it all )
Got to put high energy head on soon as its Caribbean day in the business im working with today:rolleyes: Wish the weather had come out in sympathy.

Off to tesco with the big boss soon to buy some caribbean themed food (mmm could be a challenge in the centre of cardiff !!) and some prizes for the top sales people - I love spending other peoples money!! And the best news is they call it work and pay me for it:T :j

Good Morning All

Just a quick from me before I nip DD to school!

Happy Birthday to Jackie have a lovely day.

Got to take my dog to the vets this morning for her op! This is the 1st time in the 5yrs Ive had her, she's really needed any treatment. So Im a little apprehensive, I know she'll be fine.

Family therapy went well last night. DS had a 1-2-1 with the therapist! He will write a report on behalf of DS and send it school, and arrange a meeting for once a month for me & the behaviour teacher at school to iron out any issue's (that should be fun!)

Stayed an extra hour again y-day at work, will most likely do the same today!

looking forward to Ashes to Ashes tonight hope it will be as good as life on Mars not sure the music will be as good DH brought me the boxed set of 1 and 2 series of life on Mars for xmas and I am enjoying working my way through them when I get a quite moment to my self
DD is off school today she has one of her bad migraines I have left her in bed
Egg and chips for tea tonight then need to do some baking run out of Twinks hobnobs not sure yet what else is on the agenda for baking

Quiet day here today, hooray. Must do some baking, and cook some lentils up ready for supper tonight. Got a couple of loads of washing to put into the machine and there's already a mountain of ironing with my name on

Am off to work again today. Got b*gger all done in my two days off - oh well :embarrased:. Need to wear extra layers today as they have turned the temperature down - instead of being 5 degrees, is now 1 degree. If it's not busy it soon gets freezing!

After only a week at his new job, OH is being let out on his own I hope he does well.

Anyway, I'ld best be going. Oh yes - I made Nigella Peanut Butter Squares last night and they are horrid!! They're so sickly sweet, really unpleasant. And they were a sod to make :rolleyes:
