Morning All!
First of all, :bdaycake: to Jackie O! Have a great one!
Finally got the report from the coroner yesterday. Mamma died from Natural Causes, MND and Respitory Failure. We could have told them that!!!!!!!
They've made us wait for 12 days to tell us something we already knew.
Anyway, we can at last lay Mamma to rest. The funeral is next Thursday 14th Feb. Valentines day is most appropriate, as she was loved so much.
Got a busy day today. Taking myself and Daddy to the Dr's, then to work to hand in anoher cert, then pick up a parcel, go to the printers. This afternoon, seeing he Registrar and funeral directors.
At least I slept well last night, unlike the night before.
Have a good day everyone!

Happy birthday JackieO! :bdaycake: :bdaycake:
I thought that I would check on here "mid-week" (a real luxury for me!) before I get ready for w*rk.
I'm going out for a meal with my mum tonight. She's acting as chauffeur to my dad who is going to a charity dinner - but the dinner is just down the road from our house. I'm hoping that she will pay  :rotfl:.
Out for supper tomorrow night - a charity do again, but for me this time.
Oh, and DH has passed his latest IT exam. He's regained his CCNA :j :j. He's now contemplating what to take next........
Have a great day all

Morning Everyone
Many Happy Returns Jackie-0 I am sure your DD's and DGK's will be spoiling you rotten. Hope the chemo went OK.
Well done mrs_mix on the DLA, make sure you use it to make your life easier.
Amie - I had intended to watch it, but DH and I decided we would go down the local bar with entertainment on tonight and eat out. No method of recording here so will have to try to catch up next week.
Hi Lily-Lu we're fairly harmless in here, slightly insane, and a load of insomniacs too.
HJ - what are you doing up at that time when you are supposed to be resting??
(((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) to everyone else who'd like or who needs one, and Hi to everyone else.

Good morning everyone and a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY and MANY MANY HAPPY RETURNS to JACKIEO! :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: Hope you get spoilt rotten - you deserve the best birthday ever!
Welcome to LILY-LU - nice to meet you.
AUSSIE - I read so fast I thought you said you had the dog simmering away on the hob. I thought 'what's he done to p**s you off!'
Well, yet again, yesterday was so busy I didn't get time to come back on here so (((hugs))) to all who needs them. I'm so busy re-organising everything in the house and it all takes longer than I expect. I'm trying to sort out a file a day rather than keep putting it off because the filing cabinet is full of rubbish and old paperwork. One a day seems less of a chore.
I collected DGS from school yesterday and we played a brilliant game I picked up for £1 from a charity shop. It's called Mancala and has a wooden board with lovely coloured stones which you try and collect. It's a simple game with no real rules but you have to be very tactical - my DGS is great at games like that. I know it's going to be on our list of regular games from now on. I have DGD coming round after school on Friday; she's five years old and I'm wondering if she's old enough to learn French knitting. I'll give it a go. I also bought some plastic canvas for her to learn simple cross stitch so we may try that on Friday.
Anywa, DH has just left for work so I'd better get a wiggle on. I'm trying to get a clear day's work in without interruption, which seems impossible at the moment.
Dinner tonight is stew so I must get that prepped in a minute; I shall make DH a rice pudding (can't stand the stuf myself). Once all that's prepped, it means it can cook itself while I get on with something else. I have six things to iron - hardly seems worth setting everything up but I will, just to prevent a mountain building up.
Anyway, off to read yesterday's thread then get some chores done.
Hope everyone has a brilliant day and see you all later.

Hilstep
I opened the cupboard under the sink to get the washing powder out and there were bits of rubbish on the shelf. I thought one of the trus had missed the bin again (we have a carrier bag bin, attached to the inside of the door) so I went to sweep it out and then I saw them - mouse droppings  The sods have chewed through the bottom of the bag. I'll have to empty out the food cupboard - it's almost a larder but not quite, it's too small to call it that lol - because I reckon they'll find it in about 15 mins :rolleyes:I need lots and lots of plastic containers, anyone got any spare?
Bulletproof0 -
Morning
:bdaycake: JackieO, have a great day
Hilstep, glad you have go the go-ahead for your Mamma's funeral, your nights sleep was probably due to that
Same old same old today, but have to go to Morrisons to stockup on my Slimming World ingredients - doing OK until last night when I had a very large glass of wine (think it was about 10 syns)
Hope everyone has a good day xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning all!
Happy birthday to JackieO :bdaycake: Hope you have a good one!
Had a emotional day at work yesterday I just got so fed up and annoyed with everything (long story) basically too much work to do in one day. Even if you work as FAST as you can it still builds up and I cried! Then I felt alot better
Dead filing at work today all day yay! My worst job. But on the bright side it is Thursday - nearly Friday. I end up wishing my life away - not good!
Enough waffles.... Have a good day everyone!0
