The credit rating doesn't really mean anything about whether they are about to go bust. Just means that there are judgments and to treat with caution.0

Company is now in liquidation, and the creditors have been called in, the pondlife behind the company will probably surface again in the near future under a different name though.0

What good news, took a while but it seems that a small amount of justice has passed.
I certainly won't be caught out again when I come to sell a car......fingers crossed at least....:doh:0 -
I now believe the same company is operating under VEHICLE CREDIT SERVICES and has web site with that name all words together dot com. Usual story and convincing with buyers willing to buy near advertised autotrader price.0

I just got scammed as well... my car is a VW Golf and I took it for a service at VW a couple of weeks ago.
When they called they said they were calling from VW (so I thought maybe someone at VW saw my advert on my car and was interested, hence I thought it was legit) and they said that they had a customer who's applied for finance and they were going to be paying the full asking price that I had listed it for and they needed me to pay £99.99... and that they will be paying me the money back because the customer is applying by finance but they said they needed the money to release my details to the buyer.
They said it will take half an hour for them to release my number... and the person who was calling me was Daniel Taylor.
When I checked my email for the confirmation I realised that it wasn't VW and it was actually from vehiclecreditservices (dot) com, I immediately checked on google and saw this thread here and that confirmed it was a scam.
I am so p****ed off because I'm always very careful with stuff like this and the only reason I gave into it was because they said they were calling from VW so I didn't think it was dodgy.
I called up my bank (barclaycard) and they said because the money has been authorised already they will not be able to do anything until I receive my statement and then I have to call up to dispute it. They said they have put a note about the matter on my account and they made the fraud department aware, and also blocked my card and pin number and will send me new ones.
This is the number they gave me: 087191700250 -
Mario......
Simple question...are you the scammer behind this???0 -

Tell Barclaycard you want to do a chargeback; then listen to them try to refuse.
Then INSIST upon a chargeback and threaten them with a compliant to the FSA.0 -

Guys im gonna say this one last time. I sold this domain name last year to a company in Cyprus called v.c. vehicle credit services.
I am not the person running this company, I am a car trader who buys and sells cars in London. I bought the domain with the intention of arranging finance for my customers but decided against it due to it being very time consuming and expensive becoming FSA approved therefore I decided to put the domain name for sale. If you do a search on the domain name you will see who it is registered to.
I hope this clears things up for you guys0 -
I just got called today... chap said he was "Dean" from Honda... I get an email when I get home... they are not Honda at all.
Did a bit of googling and found all these threads. No way are they having my 99.99 that he mentioned on the phone.
How do these companies exist... why arent they being shut down and prosecuted ??

I had a phonecall off them P@@@"S the other day saying that they had 2 people in my area ready to buy, he said that all we need now off you is a warranty fee, and I said, its only had its service 2 weeks ago, but he keept going on about the warranties on there behalf, but I ended up paying that stupid amount of £99.99 as you think to yourself that i may have a buyer here and more extra money for christamas as there is a ressession on as well.
This company are now calling themselfs Vehicle Credit Services and have a smart looking site. They are on the net as complete words together com.
I have even tried to stop the transaction through my bank and terminated the account but its still been taken out..........Im Gutted about this, you try ringing them now and they tell you the guy is busy. I know from reading all of this on here what game they are playing.
Any Help would be much appreciated!!!0
