My bank have just confirmed that my cheque has cleared, what a relief!
I'm happy to share the wording used in my MCOL claim to anyone that wants, it may help, just email me. Hopefully VWS will continue to cough up the refund to those who persevere, please do it and get your money back!

Another one bites the dust.
Unfortunately my husband trusts people - sad I know but they sounded very plausible to him.
Just a word of warning, you could think about cancelling your card and having a new one issued - what's to stop them taking more money out at a later date. No one can stop them scamming so who can stop them draining your account. The bank has advised us of this which we did immediately.0 -
I have just had a phone call from these people, i am a very causious person and they were so convincing, i looked at the website and very causiously said ok. i gave my details over to take 99.00 out of my account. when i come off the phone ot them, they were going to give me a call back with the athorisation code for the payment, in the mean time i typed in their name on google and found this forum, i very quickly phoned them back and said can you cancel the transaction i should really speak to my partner first and i will give you a call back tommorrow. Hopefully i have been lucky and have not been charged. Has anyone else been in this same situation?:think:0

I have just phoned my bank and the money has come out of my account. I will try any send them a letter like some of you have and see where i get.
Does anyone know what else i can do?0 -
Hello, Could you help me get my money back, what did you write to get yours back?
Thank you0 -
Check immediately with your Bank or Building Soc to see if the transaction has gone through is is scheduled to go through, and ask to stop it, if possible. I think if it's Visa then it may go on "reserve" to go through in the next 3 days.
If they do take your money then you will have to try and reclaim it, either through phone calls, (the Customer Service number will never work) and letters. The response to letters is usually "Sorry we are unable to give you a refund as we are actively marketing your vehicle" when clearly they are not.
Do not be put off, if it comes to it, then register a claim with Money Claims Online, this did the trick for me.
