we just had this lot on phone and they were very pushy and nasty and because we did not agree to selling the vehicle and giving them the £100 they were asking for i was very annoyed they said they were going to send me a bill for £900 administration fee for not agreeing to sell the car, we have also had a lot of emails from aroad to say we will buy your car if you send rest of money to shipper and never receive anything from nobody, also false numbers and email addresses, i personally do not find this funny atall0

Do you mean that they actually found someone to buy your car and then you decided not to sell?.0 -

The emails from abroad are unrelated to VWS.
It's unclear from your posting whether you agreed to VWS marketing your car and they then did find you a buyer who wanted to buy your car but you refused to sell to the buyer, or that you just refused their offer to market your car for you."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
to "Hammond6668" I would be very interested in hearing if your threat of taking legal action sparks a refund, I hope it does, so far in all my communication I have mentioned I will take further action if necessary, but still no refund, what a surprise.
Also, I've just submitted a claim with Money Claims online, be aware this costs £25, but gets included in the monies owed by VWS, if found guilty.

I have written to them again this week, i have asked them for the name of the person who deals with complaints, and also there complaints procedure, none of which i will probably get. If they do not refund me this time then i will also be using the MCOL to claim my money back, the more people there are sueing them, the more chance there is of getting the money back.0 -
I fell for the "sell your car to our approved buyers" line too.
However, I have successfully recovered my money through the on-line small claims court service. Vehicle World Service did not contest my claim (surprise, surprise) and I received my full fee plus court fee and expenses.
Good luck.:j0 -
Congratulations ground break, i am now going to do the same starting tonight.
I still intend to bring them down even after i get my money back, has everyone contacted watchdog?0 -
I have just had a phone call off VWS, a Mr collins who said that i would be refunded in full next week :T .
I am not sure whether or not it was my letters or the threat of legal action, but anyway , good news.
Mr Collins assured me that it was a rogue sales person who was responsible and that a number of complaints had highlighted this person, and that they were a reputable company, i will let you decide on that.
I would definitely keep up the letters if you feel you have been mislead, the threat of court action may be the key, i will keep looking at this post and anyone who wants any advice , just let me know.0 -
That's great news, I only hope it happens, but I remain very sceptical, bet Mr Collins has a new name every day. I've now submitted a caim with Money Claims Online, will see what happens there. Also, I informed BBC Watchdog.
Please keep me in the loop on all of this, even if we get our money back I am keen to putting an end to people like this.0 -
I reported Vehicle World Servies to Barnet Trading standards, send them an email, they replied to say they are investigating this company so it can't do any harm for everyone to email, the more complaints the better. I had some **** call me and tell me he had 3 buyers within 50 miles of me, I asked him to tell me where I was located, he said 'eh in the North' I said the North of which country, he replied 'eh Wales'. I said I'm not even on the mainland, he promptly hung up, thankfully I wasn't scammed but it makes me so angry they can do this. I know so many people who don't have net access so can't check them out that will be conned by these people, it isn't even a sales pitch, it's lies!!:mad:0
