dr couldnt find anything about his dizzy spells, could be linked to the growth thing though so will see if it goes away, if not will take him to our local dr.
dr was asking how florida went, blimey didnt realise it was that long since we had seen dr:rolleyes:

Hsve actually managed to read every post today! Just goes to show how much time I spend here when i'm not working! I have just spent about half an hour trying to find out if you 'buy' stuff from tesco clubcard do they give you change? Still haven't managed to find out nd don't want to pay extra if they don't give the points back not very moneysaving!0
-
furrypig - if you mean getting the vouchers to "buy" treats/travel, etc., then once sent off, any difference gets put back into your points and given back on the nex voucher run.

If they are disturbing the kids - have you tried talking to them to explain. They may have been at work all day and this is the only time they have, and may not know your situation. A plate of Twinks Hobnobs may help break the ice.

evening all
boring boring day today until that is a fight broke out at w8rk - ok I'm exagerating (I can't get that word to look right and I've written it out 3 different ways) but there was a bit of a barney between two colleagues. Actually now I come to think of it it was a day for verbals - exoh stayed over last night and we had a huge barney this morning over dd11 going to church. she has expressed an interest in christianity so has been to sunday school with a dear friend. He is now worried that she will have her head stuffed with creationism, homophobia and pro-life propoganda not to mention the superstitious mumbo jumbo - I calmly suggested that he go with her next time then - d'you know I didn't actually beleive in spontaneous combustion until that moment. My feeling is that if she wants to know about volcanoes I take her to the natural history museum and if she wants to know about christianity then i arrange for her to go to church .... and let her make her own mind up. Tonight she has been crying about missing her dad and can't we get back together pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaase - well that's a no-brainer
she was upset too as a boy in her class talked all the way through the mock literacy SAT and they all have to redo it tomorrow - why didn't they just take him out instead of punishing the whole class - she says that she wrote a good bit of work so is going to ask for her paper back and copy it out as she has already done the work once. Which brings me to a proud mummy moment - in maths test paper A she got every single question right :T
did y'all see that sammy-kaye's food budget won post of the month - well deserved I say :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T
oh there goes the timer for the bread - have a good evening - what's left of it
stefI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Evening all,
Very tired for some reason to-day...went back to bed after I dropped DGS2 to school and slept until 12.00...have been asleep on and off all evening too...maybe its just the Lent thing of not eating any more than one full meal and two small ones...always like this on Ash Wednesday.
Stefejb....would love to have seen the spontaneous combustion! I agree with you that if youngsters express interest they should be given an chance to find out....was exoh subjected to some type of narrow minded Christianity as a youngster...if so you could point out that he managed to get away from it and so will DD!
Hester...my first thought was 'tell Katy' and I see that many others feel the same....
Hugs to all who are not feeling well for one reason or another.
Beemuzed...you are doing really well...will be thinking of you to-morrow.
Welcome to newbies...not everyone here is as sane as me, but you will get used to them!
Night all

That's not a very nice thing to say about Haribo & CM Mean Marie.
There's a bloke on the island who say's he's mad and has a certificate to prove it. I don't think he's joking though as he's crazy.
I've been up early this morning. Had Mass on the island at 8am this morning. It's usually at 9am but the Priest is doing a funeral on the mainland. Got home and vacumed & washed the floors. There drying now. DH is giving Benny a cut out on the back verandah. He hates them and is crying and making funny noises.
TiredMum I can understand why you've got Oz last after meeting my DH.
Snowy & Pink How was Ikea? It is still standing.
