    Hi Folks!
Czarina, I'm so glad the symptoms have eased - there's not much worse in my opinion!
Anyway, not felt like posting on here much lately, as not feeling too chatty..but we go down to Dorset this afternoon so as to be properly prepared for Mum's funeral tomorrow. The thought of being stuck on the M25 in the morning did not appeal! maybe after that I'll begin to get my head back together again. Please help yourself to ((HUGS)) as appropriate - and hope all poorlie folk feel better soon.

Well good afternoon one and all.

Haven't really caught up with you today but I have made a wonderful discovery! Because the laptops at work are on a different network, it looks like I can post and also thank folk! It is amazing what one can discover when in the office myself I just need to work out what to say to my colleagues when they see me glued to an iBook instead of the pc! Probably won't post much from here but it means I can maybe nip on at least once a day.

Love and hugs to all and will spend my lunch hour reading about your day so far.

    Love GB xxx

    Afternoon everyone.
Another here who is blaming facebook for not getting on as often!!!

Had a nighmare of a few days, like crazychick iv had mega problems with ds3 at school, im normally really cool and carm when sorting these things out, but last night i popped and screamed down the phone at his teacher told them the school was rubbish and that i was pulling the kids out!!!!! Then hung up!! Dh was so mad he got in the car (he shouldnt be driving!!) and went off to school, came back 40 mins later with a banging headache from shouting so much!!
At 6.30pm the headteacher rang me to appologies, and we have been in this morning to sort it all out, fingers crossed things have been sorted but i feel so silly for losing my cool, the teachers must think me and dh are mad but i just couldnt hold it in any more (no fgas and wrong time of the month didnt help!!)

Anyway, os wise have got washing blowing on the line made tea, finished meal plan for this week as iv not been planning proberly for a few weeks, and aim to get upstairs sorted later.
    Hugs to everyone

    Morning all!

Not posted on the daily thread for a bit!

It must be the time of year for us OS to loose our rags! I was out in the street screaming like a fishwife at the neighbours son over the weekend- one of his friends had vomitted on our doorstep overnight due to over indulgence in booze- although they denied it) and then another one of his friends proceeded to urinate in the alleyway in broad daylight. They deserved a good screaming at. Not seen the mum to have words with her yet.

Am currently sat with recipe books out, my new favourite is Darina Allen's Ballymaloe Cookery Course- I got it for Christmas and its fab. We've got friends for dinner and am trying to think of something delish to serve. I think we might have slow roasted leg of lamb, although I can't decide on Morrocan spices or rosemary and garlic.

Totally stuck on desert. The girl likes old fashioned desserts that are vanilla, chocolate and caramel flavours. I'm trying to think of something fab to make and I don't mind faffing about. I was thinking of a tart, but I have a silicone tart tin not a metal one, and I don't think its that great- you need the metal conduction to cook the pastry well.

we are looking at Canada first then New Zealand then Aus [which would have been first but not too sure about the people or having to eat Zuchinni/cucumbers all the time}:rotfl:
was having a good morning until driving home from school and saw a dog chasing a cat and as i got to the junction the car coming along the top road hit the poor thing it wasnt his fault he had to swerve to miss the dog chasing it I went to stop but the driver and someone else had already pulled over and the cat didnt look in too good a shape and didnt know what i could do so came home and gave my 3 a quick hug it was no ones fault except the dog owners as the dog was just on its own:mad:
washing all done so i can now get on with the ironing:j

    Hello all !
Lovely day so did a bit more charity shopping for christmas/birthday baskets. Then had photocopies done of Mum in her younger days and her mother -thought I'd put them on a Mothers Day card for her.
Felt worn out when I got back...........logged on.....then the power went, only briefly but shocked me at the time !
Now I've just had freaky phone call.............phone rings, male voice says 'can you hear me' then fades away.................I 1471 to see who it was and re-dial the number ...............then get a message from someone with same name as my Dad.........!!! Freaked me out that did ! He died in 2000 !
Not be redialing that number again and don't know anyone else with the same name.

At least our lad went to school this morning and stayed there and the other one is at his brothers so all is fairly quiet thank goodness. Town was quite busy considering half the shops close for early closing day !

Have a good day all of you and hugs ((((((((((((:o )))))))) to all those who need them
