Tru Well I'm in with good company as most of us thought it was a real pig and that the rabbit and the pig were more than friends. :D
furrypig Yes you are a very bad person. :naughty:
    AnnieLee
Anniebooklover Good luck at the dentist.
JackieO I hope all goes well today.

Well since I posted last time we have had a cracker of a storm. Brisbane has had major flooding in some suburbs & 2 little boys got swept down a drainpipe. One died :( and the other one they managed to revive. Power is out a lot of places too. It's over now though. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning all

Csarina - hope your cystitis clears up quickly - it's miserable!

Scoffed no end of pancakes yesterday so am off scones for Lent - our work canteen makes fresh scones every morning at coffee time so I think it's a suitable deprivation:rotfl: We also made a Jamie Oliver pasta recipe which was lovely, but there was far too much pasta so I have the leftovers for lunch. Off back to Norn Iron tomorrow to visit the parents for a long weekend and stock up on potato bread and other essentials.

Have a good day all and hugs to anyone who needs them!
  • Good morning everyone

Not much to report from here. My friends son has moved out under strained circumstances and i am being the 'shoulder to cry on', I dont mind but if she rings me at 1.15am again i have told her i will kick her :)
Usual things sat waiting for me to attend to them. DW, BM and WM.

HH I agree tell Katie and you might be lodger free ;)

Tru I thought you meant pig pig too. Thought it must be trained not to squash the rabbit ;)

Right i must get a jiggle on
Hugs to everyone who needs them or just wants one.
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D
  • Morning all! See i'm getting here earlier and earlier :D

(((hugs))) to anyone who needs them

OH still in Glasgow, i've just taken DD to school so i'm home alone :j bit of peace and quiet!

Got loads done yesterday, luckily OH wont notice whether its done or not cos he told me to rest and not to be doing much - i promised not to, waved him off and immediately got out my mop and bucket lol :rotfl: I think its because its his first baby he's worrying about little things and me doing too much whereas i'm so much more relaxed this time around, now that the dizzy spells have passed i actually feel really well. I managed to get the whole of downstairs done (ok its only 2 rooms but i mean i went all into the corners and everything lol), DD's toys rearranged in their new storage boxes plus a bit of cooking and baking so am chuffed with my little self :) Today is the turn of the washing, ironing and cleaning the bathroom.

    B - Cereal, juice, tea
D - Haven't christened it yet, maybe scrambled eggs?
    T - Corned beef hash

    Have a good day all

    Good Morning All

Hope we are well, it seems to be a hop, skip and a jump when I can get on here. So please understand, I'm not deliberately ignoring you guys! I blame facebook now for taking up my time!

Been having a nightmare last couple of days! DS got kneed in the head at school, as usual I went OFF on one, involved the police, etc, and it turns out it was as accident! What a twit I look like! So Ive told him I will feed & Cloth him and thats all he's getting from me! Feel a bit awfull now for being so harsh!

Managed to get some baking done, carrot cake and Twink's Hobnobs.

Dog is still having regular visits to the vets, she was there last night, and the Vet has now decided, the treatment isn't working and she does need surgery (which we was trying to avoid), she's booked in tomorrow for surgery on her eye! Glad she is insured, as he estimated the operation to be £305, thats not incl what Ive paid so far!

Family therapy session tonight at 4pm!

Pen-Pen - well done on the crocheting! I remember teaching my Nanna to crochet many moons ago! I finished a baby shawl last month, and once the tassles was put on, it was lovely!
Dlb - I hope you get the school business sorted out, and that DH is feeling better.
    Jackie-o - (((hugs)))
    Penny-pincher - (((hugs))) also
    Welcome - AnnieLee
annibooklover - (((hugs))) sounds like your having a hard time like me!
Kyle - hope ds1 is feeling ok! We too have cut out all fizzy pop, drink only water or diluted pop! Only time I buy fizzy is for when Im mixing an alcohol beveridge! :rotfl:

Right best be off and get ready for work!
    Have a great day
    Love Emma xxx

Just wanted to say TRU I assumed it was a guinea but suspect I was the only one!!!

I would love pigs but I'm sure I could never actually eat them I worked in our secondary schools farm unit at weekends as a volunteer and loved it and have loved pigs ever since! Thus the furrypig name! I said I would be happy to grow up to be a pig farmer but I'm a nurse in a sexual health clinic so slightly different!

Does anyone here actually have pigs???

Are you planning on eating them???

PPen loves pigs  and it's her dream to have some, ditto with Tru. (we are talking about pig pigs here btw) :D Yes, I think they do plan on eating them  which I will try and turn the other cheek to.

We might as well as have a pig discussion :D I think we've done every other topic.
