Hugs JACKIE O my Step-Son had a line in when he was having chemo, I geuss it meant they didn't have to muck around too much with him.

PENPEN good luck for today and congrats on your crochet. I would also like to learn when I have a bit more time.

PENPIN enjoy your duvet day with DD, hugs to you

    CSARINA get well soon

Hugs to anyone else who wants one.

Tried to post again yesterday, but computer was playing up. Pancakes were lush, DS ate 4 huge ones with sauce and sprinkles. Also had a cook up and made chicken soup, sausage pie and cooked some chickpeas to go in the freezer.

Meant to get up at 6 but just too tired. Hope to get down to the allotment today if it doesn't rain. Also need to spend an hour doing as much housework as I can, have a bit of ironing to do and of course studying.

Lunch will be soup, dinner will be leftovers as I seem to have a lot in the fridge.

    Have a lovely day all

Big Hugs to Jackie O, HJ, PP & PP & Mrs Mix
Pen pen, I'm crocheting squares & find I can do about 6 to 10 an evening, whist working on the phone, once you really get going you'll be amazed at how fast it gets.
Katy was in shock last night, she discovered that one of our teachers, who is expecting her 2nd child isn't married, she wanted to know why the minister hadn't been to tell the headmaster to sack her. I'm not sure if she meant a church minister or an education minister. Dare I tell her hubby & I aren't married?
Off to work now, have a great day.
    Hugs Hester

Morning everyone. Got my letter from physio yesterday about my lower back pain-I have to ring them to make an appointment. Not sure if it is that or my hips now... Went to trade fair yesterday and after just have an hour of walking I was in agony, it started at the sides(hip area) and moved into my back. So I had to have alot of rests and had to keep sitting down. Hopefully physiotherapist will be able to enlighten me.
We had pancakes for tea last night. tradition in our house is that pancakes is what you have for the entire meal on pancake day. Kids thought it was great. And I ate too much.:o

Hi again - I'm back at a more earthly hour! I didn't go back to bed after my early rise because I was worried I wouldn't hear the alarm so I just mooched around on the internet for about three hours and the time flew.

PENPEN - (((hugs))) for how you were feeling yesterday and glad you feel better today.

JACKIEO - (((hugs))) to you today.

N9EAVE - yes, that's the famous double-whammy cold! I had one in October and another one all over Christmas; I've never had colds so close together before. As for fuel, it's so expensive now; my DH is spending over £20 a day just to get to work and back. He's got a thirsty 4x4 but he takes my car on the days when I don't need it and that saves about £25 a week.

PENPIN - (((Hugs))) to you; hope you feel better as the day goes on. You do really well with eBay, don't you? I really must get into more of a routine with it. I haven't done any for ages because I get fed up with the listing!

We visited DS2 and his GF (and the kitten, of course), last night. They are getting married in August so GF is really busy planning and DS is being really laid back about it because it's still six months away. It'll be here before we know it. I'm doing the wedding favours for the place-settings so I'm thinking hard about something original but not too expensive. GF was so pleased the other day when she went shopping with the four older bridesmaids (my DGD is a bridesmaid but, as she's only five, she is having a separate shopping trip). Anyway, on Saturday, GF and the four older girls went to town and found the perfect dresses in the perfect sizes in Karen Millen's, reduced from about £130 each (I think) to £35. They are beautifully made in a really hot pink and were such a bargain. GF was so pleased because she thought it would take several trips and a lot more money.

Well, I'd better go - I've spent so long on the computer this morning that the tendonitis in my hands is making its presence felt. That's nature's way of telling me something. I need to save them for playing with DGS this afternoon and knitting tonight; we haven't sat in our front room for the last two nights so we have to catch up with Lark Rise, the new David Attenborough series and last night's Shameless - if I can stay awake that long!

    Weel, see you all later.
