By the way. I checked the Northern Ireland news and Ikea seems to still be standing.
Which is more than can be said for Snowy and Pink after their swedish meatball fest.

What a good idea Churchie.0 -
Gosh Mary, what a strange thing to happen! It can't be anything more than a coincidence, however unlikely that might be?
We made it back from Ikea, and Ikea in Belfast is still standing woohoo!! Poor old Pink went in search of the lavatory and got terribly lost (there was a three foot high sign, no wonder she didn't notice it) - so we were separated for a little while. Not to worry though, we found each other despite the labaryinth layout. We both had meatballs. Don't eat the meatballs!! They made me a little ill - had to visit the said lavatories a number of times - good job there was a large sign or I'd have been v.v.embarrassed. Pink and I are going to head back there to mop up what we didn't buy on this occasion. They were out of the v.practical blackboard we both want, and I'm going to go back and get a big picture (big big big picture, hope it fits in my car it's so big!). Poor Pink had to go to wo*k this evening, so while she was busy being Florence Nightingale I sat on my !!!! in front of the telly and guzzled half a bottle of wine. Tomorrow it's nose to the grindstone and onwards with the job hunt. It's sooooo depressing to think I have to go back to THAT place on Monday.
Aussie, what are you on dearie? You're as mad as a hatter, as mad as a bag of bees, or as Pink would say, as mad as a box of frogs (like she can talk:rolleyes:;)). If M.Marie was mad she'd have PMed you...you made that up didn't you, Aussie...??:D:D;)
Forgot to mention, I managed to break my glasses this morning - the semi-rimless type, so when the lens is out it's out, it doesn't pop back in. Then I had a 15 minute nose bleed...ugh disgusting. Thought I'd be late meeting Pink - in fact I was late by 30 minutes - but she'd only just rolled up herself and she had no excuse!!!
Haribo, how is Jack?
I'm off to bed, think I am going to sleep well cos I am a little bit sozzled:rotfl::rotfl:

Haribo, how is Jack?
Jack is going to have no teeth come Friday.Has spent the evening curled up beside me swearing like a trooper.
Sorry you [strike]didn't manage to completely lose [/strike]lost Pink in Ikea.
[strike]You need to be more cunning next time if she's embarrassing you and you're trying to give her the slip.[/strike] What a relief it must have been when you found eachother.
Thanks for the graphic account of meatballenteritis.
Ps... What did you do to Pink? I've just clicked on her user profile and she appears to have fallen asleep at 12.21 while reading a thread about cheese fondue.0 -
Haribo, who is Jack? Is he your secret lover?:p Is he very old and his teeth are falling out? Don't worry, dear, you can do better;)You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
