    I cook sausages from frozen all the time, no problem. I usually grill them.

    Best cooked from chilled. So that you buy any replacement pack quicker than if you freeze them. Best for the manufacturer.
    If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)
  • I always cook sausages from frozen and have never had a problem, in fact there are some in the oven right now

    I oven cook them too - it may be flawed thinking, but I think the longer cooking time gives them more chance to cook right through? I have done this for over thirty years and had no 'ill' effects!
  • I sling them in the oven on a lower heat to defrost them, then whack it up to cook them

    I cook mine from the freezer on the forman grill so the are well cooked

  • I cook them 20 mins from frozen or 15 mins from chilled

  • Seems I'm in a minority as I always defrost sausages before cooking, never crossed my mind to cook from frozen.

    Same here! :) However, it seems as though a small experiment might be in order for "emergency" situations. I suppose it's just what we're used to, isn't it? My mum always defrosts sausages so I assumed that that's what you do. :p
