Someone's just given me some ready to roll coloured (red & blue) icing & I was wondering if I could freeze some of it. I'll be making cakes for our street party & was going to ice with buttercream & rice paper queens & corgis, will also make some union flag ones with the given icing but there's loads, hence my question about freezing it?0

I have friends invited over for dinner on Tuesday. About 2 weeks ago I bought some fresh mince, and froze it. On Monday, I took it out, planning to have a bbq and use it for home made burgers. That got cancelled due to other commitments, and today is probably its last chance to be used.
If I make my bolognese today, will it be safe to freeze it until Monday night?0 -
Cooking it kind of "resets" meat and you'll be fine to freeze it again (for as long as you like, really). I often do this, I buy fresh mince on multibuy offers, freeze until I have a day to bulk cook it then refreeze in individual portions.0

yes it will be fine! have done this loads of times and I am still here! (have a really sensitive tummy too - and never had a problem with doing this)0
