Yes that will be fine. You can freeze twice, as long as you only freeze once in each state ie raw once, cooked once.Val.0

As other have said, yes it will be fine. Think of it this way - you will be freezing cooked meat, not raw meat, thats what makes it different.0

If you freeze the mash in portion sized lumps on a tray then you can bag the lumps when they are frozen and always defrost the right amount.0

Hi cyclura,
As your thread has dropped down the board I've added it to the main thread on freezing questions.

Just a wee tip here. I'm sure some of you wonderful people will have posted it before, but I haven't seen it.
I bought 2 tubs of whipping cream on a whoopsie and whipped it to freeze it. I have always been hoking around in the cupboards looking for wee containers to freeze portions in. Last night, I used my silicone muffin tray to freeze cup-sized portions. Then just popped them out into a bag!
I will be using this for a lot more things from now on. Can't believe I didn't think of it before.
I may even look out for an old one at a car boot/ charity shop to use for when I want to freeze savoury things.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
