Yes, you can freeze it. Divide it up into usable amounts though and freeze as small packs, not as one huge lump.Val.0

Yup, go for it! Very freezeable. I tend to put a sandwich/salad portion on a piece of greaseproof, then more greaseproof, more meat etc and stack a bagful up that way. About 3 days worth to a bag, so I just pull out a bag and we have meat for the next few days. I find the greaseproof stops freezerburn.
What a great Xmas present from Mr M!

while you can freeze them whole - I tend to think it takes the flavour out of them so I make a basic tomato sauce and freeze that.0

I cooked FAR too many mushy peas for a get together last night and have over half a large pressure cooker full leftover.
I plan to cook some gammon to make some pea and ham soup but don't want overkill!
Does anybody know if I can freeze the rest for use in the future?
Many thanks in advance for any assistance with this.0 -
I have frozen mushy peas.
Just make sure you freeze them in portion sizesI tend to either use sandwich bags or open freeze in dollops on a baking sheet.
