no foil or freezer bags! I am not good old style am I?
I have clingfilm or greaseproof paper0 -
Hi
You could put the last serving in a dish, cover it with clingfilm and put it in the fridge tonight. Freeze the other portions.
Tomorrow buy some foil. Pop one of the frozen portions out of its container - wrap it in foil and put back in freezer. Then freeze the last portion in the now empty tupperware.
Or keep the last portion in the fridge and eat on Tuesday or Wednesday - it's not going to go off over that period.
Or, do as above but buy more containers instead of foil - then this won't happen again.

Am making a big batch of veggie korma to take for lunches - am I right in thinking if I put the yog in before freezing it might curdle on defrosting and I'd be better of adding a dollop as I heat it?People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I bought some pork mince and froze it raw. I have now defrosted it and made a huge lasagne - can I refreeze half of it or not? I'm sure I heard somewhere you shouldn't refreeze meat but does that only count with raw meat? Advice please!!0

Yes, once it's been cooked, you can refreeze it.0

You are Ok if you have cooked it.
I wouldn't hesitate to do this.0 -
Yes, I do this all the time. Keep meat in the freezer until I am ready to use it. Batch cook and freeze the results.Second purse £101/100

Hi Dandy candy
as it has changed state, it is fine to refreeze in my opinion. Had you wanted to freeze it uncooked, that would be unadvisable.
Since you were happy with your answer, I've merged this with the freezing quick questions thread. If yuo look at post one in this thread, you will see a load of very useful links as well include the food standards agency
thanks
