kemo - yes you can freeze it but be aware that liquids expand when they freezes and if there isn't sufficient expansion room in your plastic milk bottles they could split. Might be sensible, if you don't think there will be enough expansion room, to take a little bit of milk out first.0

Hello Quick question
I have some blackberrys that have been in the freezer since last august. Can I still use them? Thank you.0 -
flippin36 - yes you can still use them. I have blackberries in the freezer two years old which I'm still trying to use up. They may be a little frosted by now but if you use them in a stewed apple mixture or combined with other fruit they'll still be perfectly OK.0

Hi bitsandpieces,
Yes you can freeze it but it's best to wash, peel and cut it into pieces then blanch in boiling water for a couple of minutes before plunging into cold water then draining it and freezing.

I've made an amazing shepherds pie
to freeze into portions
Now I've run out of tuppaware containers
Can I do either of these to freeze it?
a) wrap the last portion in clingfilm?
b) put it on a plate/in a bowl covered with clingfilm?
or do I have to eat seconds for my tea tonight?! :rotfl:0 -
Hi brighthair,
I would freeze it on a plate or tray, then once frozen wrap in foil or put it into a freezer bag and pop it back into the freezer.
Once you've had some more replies I'll add your thread to the Freezing - Tips and Quick Questions thread as your query may help others.
