Just wanna give PurplePrincess a huge thank you for the receipy for the scotch pancakes, made some for our lunch today and they are absolutely gorgeous.100% better than shop bought ones.
I was surprised how fast they cook, much faster than the flat pancakes, just gotta watch the heat as they can easily burn.
Pancake day shouldn`t be a once a year event,should be weekly and classed as a bank holiday too!Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -
OKay...I'm adding "Make pancakes" to my list of things to do....why does this list keep getting longer instead of shorter?Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Just spotted your post hazzie, really pleased they worked for you :j
They're not just for one day in Scotland - make great supper, teatime or weekend breakfasts too!
If we've got children round I usually put butter, jam etc on the table, make up a huge batch of mix and keep sending them through as I'm cooking. They all think it's a real treat and one lad always asks when I'll be making pancakes again!:happylove0 -
