Lemon juice and sugar.

We'll be having ours savoury - stuffed and rolled up with a tomato/mince mixture (similar to a bolognaise) inside, with cheese sauce over the top and then browned in the oven.
I should have enough batter left for us to have a couple of sweet ones afterwards and will probably go for maple syrup or sugar and orange juice (but I haven't decided yet).0 -
