How hot should the pan be?If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

i would say over a medium flame if you have gas, turning it down if they are cooking very quickly.
Pancakes are odd things first couple always a bit rubbish. It takes a few attempts to make the perfect pancaker.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Made mine for lunch. First one was a mess (as always), so that was was my "pudding" one - in a bowl with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and a spoonful of nutella
My other one was with bacon and maple syrup - never had that before. Yummy
I can only eat 2, so the other 6 are in the freezer (in 2's) for more lunches. I love pancakes!Save the earth, it's the only planet with chocolate!0 -

The 4oz flour, 1/2 pint milk, 1 egg and some lemon and sugar sort. I might add a drop of golden syrup to the next one. :drool:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

When do I ever let you down?
Firstly, use good, fresh ingredients:
Mix the flour, egg and the milk together:
Chuck a cupful in a good, non-stick pan:
When it's brown underneath, flip it:
Bung it on a plate, add choice of filling:
Roll it up:
Job done. :cool:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
