I did 3 wine orders the back end of last year and the points were not added. When I phoned up I was told that I would have to send them proof that I had received the codes! So had spent £75 but gained no points. I did however email them and they did add on 2000 but not the 3000 points and I am happy with that.
My advice would be carry on with the order but if not credited on invoice when actuallydelivered then consider refusing the order as it might be more hasstle than it is worth.

We placed three wine orders over Christmas and no points were on the delivery note. we rang and were told the points would be added automatically but my o/h asked how this could be when they had no record of any code for the delivery, after numerous phone calls eventually they agreed to add the 3000 points straight away My tip is keep pestering until they get fed up with you, they will add the points just to get rid of you
(the points were for perry and larger)0 -

I've had 2 separate deliveries of perry today, separate clubcard accounts, both using XX-THTH.
Both said the code could not be used.
I've rang up re one of them and was told they would be added on within 24 hours, I'll hopefully get the same result when I call about the other delivery in a day or two.0 -

Although I admire your 'courage' constantly hounding Tesco about missing points, all you are doing is drawing attention to the fact that you are using codes which perhaps you aren't supposed to - unless of course the codes have legitamately been sent to you in which case I fully agree with causing them hassle.
I would suggest that you should'nt order something just because you are getting extra points, but because you actually want the items. Did you honestly want 24 bottles of perry, or have you just got them to get 2000 extra points?
The wine codes have been notoriously tricky, and have caused a lot of problems to a lot of people, so are probably best avoided until Tesco start issuing the points immediately like they do with groceries.0 -
Heres one for the mathematicians amongst you that gives an indication of the cost to Tesco if all MSE'rs registered and not registered with the site. At any one time there are always twice as many non registered people as registered using the site. As there are about 76,000 members the there are approx. 152,000 non members. For simplicity call the total 200,000. Lets say we all do 2 £75 on line shops each month utilising 1000 points voucher each time. Then Tesco would make 2 x 75 x 200,000 x 12. This equals 360 million pounds !! Now as the 1000 points codes no longer work I wonder if we will all continue to do all these on line shops........ ??. Your thoughts please. If the maths is wrong sorry.0

You need 10,000 marriot visa reward points min to convert to tesco clubcard points, however if you convert more you sometime get a worse exchange rate?
Full info on the tesco clubcard points is

3,500 Tesco Clubcard Points 20,000
7,000 Tesco Clubcard Points 30,000

If anyone is interested in a deal to get 15,000 marriot rewards point which 10,000 can be used to convert to 1,500 tesco clubcard. You need to find someone in the USA to apply for the marriot rewards signature card, if they make a single spend on the card they get 15,000 points. I am asking someone to do this for me :T so this maye usefull to someone else.
Ps they also get a free stay a marriot hotel
If I have helped please show your thanks0 -

Doesnt seem like much if you think of your own shopping but makes you think when it is all added up. The mark up on food is 300% ( can remember reading that somewhere) so the shops are making a good profit, just look at their year end profits
I have only recently started shopping with tesco, have always shopped at asda as they are cheaper, also food is nicer and fresher when you get it delivered( apart from the Greeeeeeen bananas that i got on a sat , to do the kids lunches on the mon. took 1.5 weeks to ripen  God only knows what the wee woman picking them was thinking
)There is always a £10 off £50.00 shop at asda so in thero works out better value than tesco. If the vouchers stop i will definetly be going back to asda0 -
