Last year we had loads missing from our Christmas shop. This year any unavailable items had been substituted with a suitable alternative. Really pleased and relieved. I hope you all get the same service.

oh my oh my!!!

Have had 8 substitutions -all perfectly fine. NOTHING missing.

Have just rung cust service, as one was out of date but nothing major, guy had major hangover, kept spelling everything wrong, kept apologising, got a bit of banter going and hey presto! my 1000 points have been added restrospectively after my email saying they can't

Our 2nd xmas shop arrived on Tuesday (had another one on the Monday too with all our booze in order to use 2 1000 point codes!) and there were around 6 or 7 substitutions, all seemed fine at first glance.

It wasn't until I was putting the shopping away I realised we had twice as many parsnips than ordered. On reviewing the receipt I found they had substituted our Comfort fabric conditioner for a bag of 10 parsnips.

Now I don't own up to being an expert on operating the washing machine, but I'm sure I can't put parsnips in the softner compartment, can I?!?!?

Anyone else had any strange substitutions this xmas?

Will phone Tesco this evening and see what explanation they can give me!!!

I ordered 2 blocks of cheese and got 8 pints of milk as a substitute. Maybe they wanted me to make my own!

only had 3 substitutions and only 1 item not delivered - it was the cheese and tomato platter bread - I'm surprised they didn't subsitute it for just another specialty bread or some garlic bread, but it's not a problem as I found some pizza stone garlic bread in the freezer when I was unpacking!

Still waiting for my delivery that was booked for thr 8pm-10pm slot. Customer service phone line is only manned until 11pm. Any suggestions???

One subsitution and one item not delivered - got my turkey though, so all is well!

How often are Clubcard Points being paid? I thought it was every 3 months, but my account says next paid in November?!
