  • just realised that from my 21/12 order (late night one), 4 fresh items had a use by date of 22/12. The cream is now a day out of date, and the veggies are starting to go a bit brown and sweating. i've sent them an email with the details . I've chucked some of it in the freezer to see if I can stop it being wasted :-(

    Anyway got a phone call this morning - driver decided to bugg@r off home halfway through the evening :confused:

    Hopefully groceries coming this afternoon. I'll be happy as long as I get my food sometime today, otherwise I'll be in a supermarket at 2am tomorrow morning trying to avoid the crowds and it won't be Tescos! ;)

  • not sure if this is the right place to post this or not so please move if its not!

    right tesco delivery scheduled to arrive today between 11-1pm did not turn up, after much investigation head office inform me all deliveries from lea valley store were cancelled for today 59 in total due to a 'system error' , i got no notification of this. anyway decided to reschedule for tomorrow between 5-7pm which means i have to leave work early to be here in case it does turn up. head office tried to contact the manager of home shopping at lea valley half past 1 to be told they have all gone home! great

    next up i go into my order online and the guide price has changed from £72 to £89. i think this was because i ordered 10 brylcreem hair gel at 1.27 each as it said on their website (obviously an error) and then they noticed and switched it back to 2.27 each on my basket without telling me. fairplay but their error in the first place and if im right then according to their policies they should refund me the difference.

    i am waiting to see what happens tomorrow but i am mad that ive spent 2 hours waiting and then the best part of an hour on the phone trying to get to speak to someone at the store to explain this to me so if anyone was expecting a home delivery this morning from lea valley then that is wahy it did not come!! due to a system error and you were not contacted cos they all went home!!! argggggggggh
  • used a code to access a voucher for 1000 points for spend of £50. Got lots of bogoffs etc. Had to spend £50 so counted the freebies and spent £76. Saved £23 in bogoffs and over £11 on discounted things. Well worth the effort

    How many codes can you use in one order?
    My mum has a code for 1000 points, and I have also found one for £10 off a £75 spend
  • Can anyone tell me when the extra 1000 points should show up on your statement? I put several orders through for groceries, wine etc in Oct and they were not added to my card straight away. I rang head office and was passed around for 23 minutes ( I kid you not I've a timer on my phone) anyway eventually they tell me there is a backlog adding points and they should be added by end of January!
    Should I continue to wait or should I chase them up again? Has anyone been successful in the past? The codes expired middle of October so the excuse they are waiting until end of promotion can't be true?

    I'm also waiting....I sent another email a couple of days ago as I'm waiting for 3,700 points , some from the end of October . Since the system has changed (it now says you have earned xxxx number of points on the invoice when your shopping arrives rather than -0.01p), the points have been going on in a couple of days after the groceries arrive. The reply said 'as promised, the points will be added to the February statement'. i'm hanging onto all emails from orders until they show up on my online points total - particularly this one!!!
