Is it possible for two people with different clubcards but living at the same address to place seperate orders online using the same points codes? Have tried to register OH but when we try to do a shop from other email address it says not registered have tried 3 times! Just wondering if you are allowed to do this

We do it all the time and have no problems. You could try clearing cookies to see if that helps.
  • I notice in the codes thread that lots of people receive codes through emails. I never have any emails from them about codes - do you have to register? I use Tesco.com so they have my email address??

  • Hi I am new to money saving (brilliant site, by the way - I'm addicted) and this is my first post so I'm sorry if this seems to be a really stupid question!! I have tried to search the site for the answer but have not found it .

I do virtually all of my grocery shopping on line at Tesco. I can't recall that I have ever had any discount codes emailed from Tesco though I have seen the box for entering codes on the order.

How does this work? If I get a code off the listings on the other thread can I enter it in my order and get a discount? Can you do this every week if I can find enough codes?

Thanks for your advice and sorry if the answer is here but I haven't found it.

  • I had never shopped on-line at Tescos for my groceries but received a e-code through the post from the Healthyliving club offering me 500 extra points on my first order. (The code is XXGRFC and is valid until 27th November). I had queried on this thread what was the minimum order so decided to order one item - a packet of dental floss priced at 98p, I then booked my delivery slot for yesterday. My total order came to £4.97 but with a bonus of 500 extra points, it would be £20 in deals so a profit of £15.00. Anyway, I had confirmation my order was accepted, but nothing arrived. I have just phoned them and they have apologised for non-delivery and lack of communication on their part and they have credited my clubcard with the 500 points whilst refunding my order. No dental floss but hey I gained 500 points !!

Be careful to not only check your invoice to see that the points coupon has been added, but keep it until your Clubcard mailing arrives and check the points have gone on. I usually get a healthy amount of Clubcard Vouchers in the mailing and cannot always tell when the points have gone on. If you ring up Tesco they will be able to tell whats gone on. If anything is missing, and this time I had 4 x 1000 point grocery orders and a 2500 points for wine. I wrote to Dundee and had a letter back this morning telling me the points will be added before the February mailing (even though some date back to August), they have also added 500 points today for my inconvenience.

So check, check and double check. Address for Tesco points queries is a FREEPOST, so no postage needed! Took about a week for the reply. Perhaps if lots of letters clog them up they may realise they have to make the points system easier for us to check.

    Does anyone know?

My daughters got a tesco account aswell as me so she can have deliveries to university, although shes created it as this address at home.

If I order from her account so she gets the clubcard points can I still use my debit card to pay through her account even though its in a completely different name to hers?
    Thanx
