Tesco grocery online codes - discussion thread

Is that the same for petrol too? as that seemed to take a few days to add. Ive mailed tescos about the online grocery shopping points that havent gone on but havent heard from them yet.

Just made me wonder if they need to be kept a closer eye on

The petrol ones should be the same as groceries, ie they will show up a couple of days later on your balance at tesco.com.

Definitely keep your eye on them though.

How do these extra points work,never used a points coupon before
Will tesco send me 1000 points worth of paper vouchers?
Could i sell these on ebay for £10?

When you do your on line shop and go to the check out page put one of the codes in the vouchers section... it will tell you if it will not be accepted, make sure your club card is registered and just before the next mailing your points get added to your club card balance automactically... no vouchers are seen but when they deliver check you print out to make sure the 0.01 voucher code is showing.

Just a thought. If all these outstanding points are not added for the February statement and they try to wriggle out of it, can we not just do a chargeback on credit card payments as a last resort? The vouchers initially come up as worth a penny, so technically, by saying a voucher can't be used and charging a penny more on the invoice, they haven't charged what was authorised, have they?

i'm still waiting for a 1000 points for an offer that ended at the beginning of November. They haven't been added yet, so I've emailed them and I'm waiting to hear back. I've made three orders since (2x1000 and 1x500) and I'm keeping the confirmation emails until I see them appear!!

First post on MSE so no longer a virgin!!.
Received delivery tonight and it showed the Clubcard Statement section but had included the 750 points from coupon and not the usual -0.00p saving. Hope this is the way coupon points will be displayed in future.

a temp clubcard tonight to get the 150 points voucher and used it to buy something for £1.33.But the receipt came out with the temp clubcard number on it and it only showed one point. Gave Tesco realised what we are all doing and stopped the 150 point thing?
