Tesco grocery online codes - discussion thread

Registered my boyfriend for a clubcard last week. Anyway, it arrived today, so logged into his account, his balance is 2730 (same as me) is this because we are at the same address? Anyway, just tried to bank the extra points codes I have used before on my account and it's accepted them A few thousand extra towards my hols :j

Just had a wine delivery but they did not show the 1000 points. Phoned them up and they said there was a technical problems and they would be added in February. Anybody else have this problem recently.

Said that to me too. Didn't trust in the fact it would happen so got them to add them manually straight away.

how did you get them to do this? they wont do it every time i ring up i get it will be added by feb? any help on what to say?

Perhaps he was just a helpful guy but I simply asked. He originally offered me a £10 discount instead and admitted they were having technical difficulties. I refused the discount and politely suggested they add the points straight away; he agreed and the points showed on my account the following morning. If they won't do it I would keep a close eye on your points in February!

Dont know if anyone else has posted this but i got a christmas card through the door yesterday and with it it had for grocerie orders online -

1000 Extra clubcard points Valid from 28/11/05-11/12/05 - XX-3YK3 - Valid for spends of £75 or over

1000 Extra Clubcard points Valid from 12/12/05-18/12/05 - XX-QL28 - Valid for spends of £75 or over

1000 Extra clubcard points Valid from 28/12/05-08/01/06 - XX-DYCH - Valid for spends of £75 or over.

How quick do they add your points to your total online?

I mean when you shop offline and earn points like it shows on the reciept I think it adds straight away doesnt it? I just wondered if theres a delay in them adding any points earned on or offline to the total online value in your account section.

I never really checked before but I did a shop the other day online and checked the points total before and after it had been ordered and delivered and its stayed the same.

Groceries get added straight away, anything else such as books, wine, electrical etc can take a while to be added.
