I used a 1000 points voucher on my wine delivery and when it arrived the delivery note said it wasnt valid. Phoned customer services and they said they are having problems with all 1000 point vouchers and not to worry as it would get added automatically. Hope so as I have since placed another wine order with another 1000 points voucher!!

When my order arrived instead of a case(24 bottles) of San Migel they sent 4 bottles costing just over £3 plus the £5 delivery and no points. Rang to ask what was going on and they said that was what i had ordered. When I pointed out that it is impossible to order just 4 bottles from the wine warehouse and why would i pay £5 delivery for 4 bottles they said they would look into it. They rang back to say the full order would be delivered within the hour, I asked about the 1000 points and they said to give the driver the voucher, driver said no way he didn't know anything about it. Another call to them finally resulted in points been added manually. Good result in the end but boy, what a lot of trouble just to get what i ordered.

I find they always reply when you email them and it costs nothing.

I agree I have done this in the past and have had a reply within 48 hours but with it been so complicated i thought a call was best. I wanted my points more than anything (husband might disagree) and didn't want the usual- use your voucher next time, as a reply

Yes, they did answer initially, but then I requested that "the case of the unadded points until February" be taken up with a senior manager, after which I heard precisely zilch!

Just having a run in wtih CS about missing points , 1500 of them. They have tried hiding behind did you have the confirmation emails, which I did (Gmail not deleting any trash has come in useful). Can I suggest that everyone keeps their confirmation emails for online shops until you know you have any points credited, just a thought, but they will probably come in useful at some point. What I don't understand is why it's so damn difficult, when I used money off vouchers it just came straight off, why make it so hard with the flipping points.

I got the wine deal for an extra 2500 points about 2 weeks ago spent over £120 on the stuff. now im waiting for the points to be added? i think the offer finished early but was due to close around this monday b4 that, so should i have had my points by now? Has any1 else got theirs??? they are deff not on my clubcard yet?

in a bit of a panic!!!

personal shoppers have absolutely no idea when picking orders, of your
vouchers or the total of your shopping. so your items were substituted
because what you ordered was out of stock. CS were just being nice! (for a change!!)

as long as it is for grocery shopping it dosen't matter what you buy, except medicines and baby food/milk.

NJO - I have recently had a very similar experience to you - see post No 287 on this thread. I wanted this to be taken up by a senior manager, but have had no response whatsoever from Tesco since this request. I am still waiting for my points to be added. As of this morning they have not been added to my clubcard total.
