Tesco grocery online codes - discussion thread

I have just had my Lambrini Bianco delivered and funnily enough it said that I couldn't use my 1000 points voucher.
I phoned CS and spoke to a lovely lady, Yvonne who confirmed my Clubcard number and added them manually :T

I am new to this site, I found it a week ago and I have banked some of the codes for on-line shopping at Tesco.
Yesterday I realised that a promotion I had been sent in the summer for 3000 extra points over 3 shops to be added in November had not gone on. I telephoned Clubcard and was told to get these points added I would need to take the promotion card to my local Tesco to have it verified before they would add the points. I was told this was the only way I could have the points. With much arguing and requesting to speak to a supervisor I was eventually told they would add the points. Has anyone else had this request? I am now concerned over the money off shopping codes I have banked, as I do not have any promotional letter. Should I be concerned?

Well, I've been banking codes for years without any sort of promotional letters ... never had a problem and neither has anyone else as far as I'm aware.

I'm new to tesco deliveries, but was wondering - I have these newspaper vouchers for 40p off for Independent times and telegraph (3 vouchers) but if I handed these to the delivery driver would it get taken off the bill or not (I'm not buying the papers) but does the delivery work just like at the tills?

Firstly, most of the CS staff seem to have no idea about the extra points. But, if it said they would be added in November then that would be too late for the October cut-off date....

The important things here is when you had your delivery did it have 'Coupon -£0.01' written on the bottom of the receipt? Also, what was the 'Valid until' date on the coupon - as I suspect if it was until sometime in November you won't get the points until the February Statement comes out.

...you probably don't know this as it was a while ago, bt it is a good reason to keep your receipts and also to write what code you've used on them.

i don't suppose someone out there has created a website with all current, valid, useable codes that is kept constantly up-to-date? I think that if we had something like this where one person took the information posted on the tesco does thread and put it together in an organised way it would make life a lot easier for everyone to find codes to use.

yes, this site has great moderators who take the time to organise all the codes exceptionally well..
