Thanks Sue, it all seems very complicated, I'll be checking my receipts carefully from now on.

    Hi

I have just added 153 points from the tempory card to my usual one via telephone. Do they keep a record of tempory cards added? I have another with 175 pts on but don't want them to get suspicious!

    Thanks, Justine

Have been fairly disgusted with Tesco recently - I rarely order on-line, but Mr Loobeylou and I decided to get a bulk order on wine, and discovered through this page that if you spent over £100 you could put in a code for 2500 clubcard points + free delivery, which is exactly what we did.

We could have chosen a code for £10 off, but the 2500 points would give us greater benefit when my points were redeemed.

However, when querying with Tesco via their website as to why these points had not been added to our clubcard total (you can check this on-line) I was advised that I would not get these until February 2006.

Now then, my gripe is that if you can have the points added immediately when you go into a Tesco store, why or earth don't they seem to have the same technology applied when purchasing on-line?

They had opportunity in a window of a couple of weeks to add these points, but for reasons known only to them they chose to delay adding the points so that I don't get them until the next quarter's redemption. On checking the paperwork that came with the wine, they have actually added 115 "points this visit" but not the 2500 - why on earth couldn't they have added them all at once?

    Bad news!!

When certain codes are issued it usually states which statement the points would be included on.

This morning I tried using the 1000 points off £50 order but it was out of date by two days which was a bit sickening so I got the 500 points off and also banked a 1000 points off £75 code on my account.

But I was actually struggling to get above £50 today and then I had a brainwave, which seems to have worked. I am a smoker. I ordered 2 packs of ciggies and that took me over the £50.

I was surprised that it worked but I have received my confirmation email showing my discount voucher code - just a thought. :j

Cigs and baby milk, can not count towards the minimum spend, as far as I know, as its illegal to earn any points on the.

  • Help! I used the voucher for 1000 points on orders over £75.

Well my order orig came to 79.40 but after the BOGOFs and stuff my order came to £70.01.

On the payments and savings section there was "coupon" and "-0.01"

Does this mean that my points were successful and will be added??

    :) Ta

Yes, when you order if it shows -0.01 your code has been accepted. When you received the order at home the invoice would have stated if the code had been rejected, as mine was. I then emailed customer services and received a reply that my order had been checked and the points would be added manually in due course.
