Do Boots ever do free delivery ? Being the cheapskate money saver ::) I am I dont wanna shell out extra cash to get it delivered. They always seem to have the best offers online rather than instore. :-/
Also is it better to complain in writing or using their online form? I have a genuine complaint I wish to make.0 -
OK, it appears the Toni & Guy detox spoo at £2.24 was a price mistake in my local branch. I went in clutching my 200 points voucher, and the assistant said that she'd honour the lower price just this once and then they were getting rid of the wrong shelf sticker. However, I did have 9 bottles in my basket, so that was £13.44 to pay and 1800 points ;D
Also got my 6th and final toy today. Will be donating the rest of my vouchers. Does anyone know whether they have extended the deadline for redeemiing them, as they are still issuing the vouchers?
They have extended the voucher giving by a week, and probably the redeem the same or untill stocks last I would imagine.0 -
I think it's free delivery over a certain amount.0

i dont do that easily either :-[ :-[ :-[
will tell all later im too raging just now, 27 yrs old man and left town in tears
on a lighter note (not that i feel it just yet, but for your benefit) is there a ms m smith on this board from dundee store today?pm me!
to cut along story short they accused me a regular of shoplifting, and to provide a reciept, so much for their newly reburbished store if cctv doesnt pick me up paying for purchases. i was accused of this after poppin in at lunchtime, the incident took place at 9am this mornin while grabbing a BLT meal deal, i only kept my reciept because 3for2 offer only had 2 items on the shelf and assistant marked reciept as customer due 1 item and signed it. im not a happy bunny and legally they had no right to do so, u see i know the technicalities i used to be in store management!
still angry as hell about 300 people witness this in the middle of the town centre >:( >:(If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:0 -
if you spend over £40 its free delivery.

If anyone has any vouchers for the soft toys that they are not likely to use,the school where my sister works does shoe boxes up for less fortunate children for xmas with various bits and pieces.
If you have any that you would like to send me PM me with your address and I will send you a stamped addressed envelope so that you can send them to me at no cost to yourself and then I can get the toys and give them to her.
Many Thanks
Just in case anyone has any spare.0 -
Oh my goodness "seaniboy". I often pop into Boots, check the ad points machine and wander around - buy nothing - sometimes I do get the feeling I am being watched - security guard hovering by the machine - that sort of thing.
Certainly wouldn't let it drop. Thats common assault anyway - stopping you going about your lawful business. Keep us posted.0 -

I've been saying for weeks this would happen(didnt think it would be on the street, i felt like an episode of eastenders(everyone watching) many my friends have witnessed the security do the same thing to me over the last 2 months, im not letting it drop for sure, in 8 years of retail supervisory/management I had never done that once to any customer or indeed shoplifter!!(without proof, video tape evidence or witnesses u just cant do these things on a hunch) I better explain I ended in tears as I used to suffer panic attacks, how ironic boots the chemist would reinstigate themIf I helped or saved you money - Thank me

You make sure you take this right to the top,it is absolutely outrageous. >:(
As a regular boots tart I am always in there checking out the points and having a good look around as there reduced shelves change from day to day I dont think I have ever been followed around.
I must admit when I put my card in the machine I do expect a loud siren to go off or something. :-[
I am so annoyed for you,god that must have been embarrasing.
Hope your feeling better now.0
