Arr crap. Only place I've seen where it states you cant spend them is Boots Online. What made me think you could was Boots Direct is instore at our local branch so I presumed you pay in store - and thus allowing you to use you advantage card to pay.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

"Advantage Card points can't be used to pay (or part pay) for bootsdirect orders."
Found this little dampener @ the back of the bootsdirect catalogue.0 -
1200PTS on £50 tonight @ my local Boots - anyone got any ideas how to maximise points!
Also my store's advantage machine is giving out 750 extra points for 75 spend today.
So if used in conjunction (can it be?) could amount to a tidy amount of points for one nights shopping.0 -
Oh Bum - just phoned Boots re 1200pts evening - it was last night! Definitely said 25th on Tannoy - apparently I wasn't the only one. >:(
Thought it strange to have it on a Late nite shop. :-/
Think I'll pop in anyway - pick up my Chanel Allure and pay for it with points to console myself.0 -

the vouchers on ebay are the mag ones and some appear to be posted from boots to people with kids ie ££ off calpol/nappies/baby food etc.(i never get them)

Does anyone know if you can use the 750 extra points on £75 spend when the store has the promotion night of 1200 points on £50 spend. Our store is having their one on the 30th so I'd like to work out the best way to do it before I go. Pity the stores didn't have the deal that's on the internet on the Botanics Lip Gloss - £2.50 with a £8 pamper pack free. ???If I had known then what I know now . . .
:A Official Boots Tart (I seem to be retired just now though) :A0 -

I went to one of these eves last night, they wouldn't take the £75 voucher, but I did give my double points voucher which she happily took from me & scanned it. When I got home I realised the points hadn't doubled so I phoned the help line today to explain. failed to mention I'd received over 1200 points as spent over £50, but they happily doubled my points for me. Also in Speke the 150 points vouchers for cucumber range are still available & the shelves where stocked too.if i had known then what i know now0 -
OK everyone, word is there's 10% off on 28th/29th Nov - definitely online though don't think instore (might just squeeze an order in pre-Dec on the grounds that it won't be delivered till well into Dec as card no saved online already ;D!)
Oh and don't forget to use your greasypalm link and cashback credit cards. (I normally go direct, save order, then go via greasypalm n place order - much easier)0 -
OK, it appears the Toni & Guy detox spoo at £2.24 was a price mistake in my local branch. I went in clutching my 200 points voucher, and the assistant said that she'd honour the lower price just this once and then they were getting rid of the wrong shelf sticker. However, I did have 9 bottles in my basket, so that was £13.44 to pay and 1800 points ;D
Also got my 6th and final toy today. Will be donating the rest of my vouchers. Does anyone know whether they have extended the deadline for redeemiing them, as they are still issuing the vouchers?0 -
people probably know this already but thought i should mention it. If you order on boots.com when there is a points offer you dont actually have to take delivery there and then, for example we used a combination of the triple points weekend with the 1000 points for 75 quid on baby products plus a 2000 points for 100 quid spend when we bought a cot. In total on a £150 cot we will have earned 6000 points, but we asked for it to delivered on the 24th of December which means it will come out of next months pay rather than this one. We still however get the points because the order was placed during the qualifing period.0
