For all you Boots virgins out there who don't know how to get points here goes.
1 Apply for a card either on line or in store.
2 When card comes use each week in machine provided instore to see what offers are available to you.
3 If you are offered 100 points on a item this is worth £1.00 to you, as you usually get 4 points per pound spent.
4 You maybe offered 150 points for a product, this product may only be 60p thus making you 90p (work it out for yourselves)
5 If this is so buy as many as you can to collect points. That is is you want to.
6 You maybe lucky and get 100, 125 and 150 vouchers printed at the same time for the same product (this is boots fault) then you try and get your 60p product with handing in all 3 vouchers and gaining £3.15, so you can see why this topic was started.
7 These good offers are not always on offer for all people.
8 Offers are changed weekly (i think)
9 Points that are gained can be used to purchase goods up to the value of the points that you have on your card. ie if you have 3999 then you have £39.99 in money and can purchase a product up to this ammount. But you can not add to this ammount.
10 Points can't be used on line.

hope that this helps people who don't have a card and want to know how to 'do a boots'

Do youthink that this could be a sticky on this individual thread or doesn't this forum work like that?
  • Or maybe a mod could start a 'points bonanza III' thread and start it with Saint_Chris' posting - it's getting a bit long now and I'm sure there will be lots of other Boots offers to come (well, here's hoping) ;D
