    Morning granny :rotfl:

£232.55 left in account at end of month so transferred into ISA.
£500 minimum to go in next month, so am pleased with the way it's filling up. Holiday fund will be £1700 by end of today too and the money back from energy supplier should be in on Thursday.
Aiming for a cheap, calorie-free week this week as seem to have gained weight since I've been happy. :) Need to either get miserable again or eat less!

Gorgeous day today - torn between slobbing in the sun and watching the tennis - tennis is winning at the moment.
Staying home is a good money-saving activity so that's what I'm doing.
Mr C will be here tomorrow afternoon for the rest of the weekend. His daughter is getting married next Saturday so let's hope the weather holds.
    Looking forward to that.
The refund from the old energy provider is now in - £86 will be off into the ISA any minute. Staying focussed.

Flippin heck - Seems a long time since I was here, but I may become a regular again soon!
So much as happened in the last month.
Mr C's daughter got married - lovely, lovely day and she was GORGEOUS. (So was he!)
Then he moved down here - his house is let for 6 months really to give us a bit of breathing space. He's only here weekends because of working away but that's great and better than before.
Then, on Monday, the house of my dreams came on the market. Mr C and I have talked about buying together (I have NEVER been financially embroiled with anyone before even though I have been married twice - big step and will require lots of decisions.)
The house is a 3 bed detached, bay-fronted house, circa 1935 in a nice bit of Chelt. It has a garden big enough for vegetables and is only a mile from work. It's a doer-upper, but not so bad one couldn't live in it (live not camp even, so even better).
We're going to view it on Saturday but i know already I want it, so does he.
    Dilemma dilemma dilemma.
It's on for £325k and my guess is they will probably achieve that - I think this type of property doesn't come up very often.
I'd probably get £200k for mine so would need a mortgage for about £125k. I have enough in savings to cover fees etc.
I think alot of the work on the house would be cosmetic - kitchen, bathroom, decoration and maybe new windows and doors. Looks like it has CH and may have been rewired. Will have to check all that out Saturday. Roof looks sound from outside and no sign of any cracks as far as I have managed to see so far.
When 6 months is up Mr C would sell his and we would then be better off, although he probably won't clear that much equity in his as prices have gone down and back up again in his area, but not really increased. The equity would pay for the work to be done though.
Oh - the thought of starting again fills me with dread......but the thought of a lovely home with Mr C makes me all warm and cosy.
    What do you guys think?

Phone the Estate agents tomorrow and get your house valued and on the market

If this man makes you feel more than you ever felt for the other two, then do it, its only a mortgage and you can clear it again

And it will make you write more here :rotfl:
