Wow Moggins, time sure flies doesn't it. Sounds like he's doing great aswell.

galantvr4 hope your little one is ok, aww bless him. Zovirax is very good but copies of it work just as well because it's the ingredient which works, Boots do one (one I am currently using) and so does even some £ shops etc, ingredient you are looking for is aclivor. I always start using it when the tingle starts or asap if I have none in, I get plagued with them so need something which works.

Right, Corrie watched, time for washing hanging out then Eastenders.....dogs out then sleep....sounds like a plan. I might even dig through the handbag while I am watching Eastenders to keep miss pigpen happy.....
Are you hanging washing out outside? sorry if I'm being thick

According to that page it's tomorrow only on the Ark Royal, hence I was a little miffed when my partner offered to help someone tomorrow as I was thinking of taking the boys. Saying that we went to go last time a ship was there and after waiting 2 hours in a queue we gave up and went for fish and chips instead.
One day I might be more organised...........

Just seen the local news about the 18month old knocked over by his dad in Kibblesworth, can't imagine what his family are going through right now

This afternoon I sent DH out to get a big leg of lamb...to feed 10 tomorrow night. He's just gone to get it out of the car and bought half a flippin sheep! We've got lamb chops to last a year, racks of lamb, legs, shoulders, you name it. Okay so it's cheaper per lb but....where do we put it as we did a big shop on Monday night (infact he did it) and the freezer is choc a block! He's now saying we need a small chest freezer in the garage....erm...yes, haven't I been saying that for over a year! Lol. He comes round to my way of thinking eventually.

Ouch about the coleslaw (as my DD calls them) hope it doesn't develop xx
  • Hi all, not long been in so no Flying done today. Went to tea after work with my favourite ex, am worn out from all the chatting.
Definitely a roller coaster of emotions on here today galantvr, second those hugs all round. I got quite dizzy with the pigpen lil_me backchat, made me laugh though. Michelle, I don't think your suggestion would be too bossy, so long as folks know it's in good humour.. hurrah for James Bond stamp though..I'm in the clear as I rarely post a list but I'll ask for some nagging now and again.. I mean, how LONG is the xmas card with my old friend's e-mail address in going to sit on the table before I mail her? Tardy mare that I am.

Anyhoo, I won't be flying tomorrow 'cos I'm going to Yorkshire to see baby Isaac for the day, eeeeeeeeeeeeee 5 weeks old and I last saw him at 2 days. Looking forward to it very much.

Love you and leave you, catch you Sunday, enjoy your weekends.

Solway give him a squishy hug from us :D have a lovely weekend

galantvr4 - I seen that on the news, made me cry :( poor little boy, been thinking of his family most of the evening, so tragic.

Mudbath if you don't want to get a new one maybe try freecycle, ebay (searching in local listings) or www.adtrader.co.uk if one covers your area. My friend got a one which was only a few months old out of adtrader last week, still under warranty, £30! If he keeps up with these shopping habits you'll need a big freezer, not a small one! (:o I'm just as bad BTW bargains first, think where to store it later)

Did I mention that I had a really nice dream last night about Daniel Craig? well I did and I feel good! :rotfl:

    Weekend list? no probelmo!

Huskys? My Mum and Dad rescued one about 6 months ago and are getting another one... his sister!!! Long story about them, but they were separated when he came into rescue, now they will be re-united! It's lovely and he is lovely! But yes, very demanding and wayy too intelligent.
  • I'm missing something. I can't find the weekend list. Does that mean I don't have to do anything?

mumofjusttwo - re the Lent thing, I have never managed to stay with anything for the 40 days, so when to end has never been an issue!!! This time I am doing 39 days as I started a day late. Don't know when that runs to.
I makde myself a sticker chart tonight, at the end of each day the kids get to put a sticker on it for me if I've been good. I asked DS what my reward at the end should be, and of course he said "Chocolate , Mummy".:rotfl:
Anway have been good again today. Positively saintly in fact. Hubby came in and sais did I want a takeaway for tea - and I said NO!!! My snacks have been 3 yoghurts.
Classis quote from DH this morning. I asked him to keep an eye on the children over breakfast so I could pop to the shop...'but I need to get ready'. Welcome to my world! Men, how do they think we do it?
mudbath - don't get me started. In the week I get up at 7am and get the 3 kids up. DH lies in til well past 8. In the evening he comes home, eats the tea I have made, reheating if necessary and it usually is as he is always late, does the kids bath, and stories. They always ask for me to put them to bed and he just lets them. Every night he comes into the baby's room where I am feeding her and says "ok they want you" or whatever, and every night this distracts her, she stops feeding, wont start and then is all unsettled all evening, I then have to go and see to the kids, while he goes down stairs - and sits down. Then when I come down I find the baby monitor, make sure lunches and bags are ready, put on the dishwasher, tidy the playroom, tidy STUFF away, put the recycling out, move laundry around etc. While he sits in front of the telly (he says he is wokring), I am SO FED UP of t all. He works most evenings in front of the telly (he is a software programmer and has his own business). If I challenge him he either says "Well I come home and do their bath" or "I let you have a lie in at the weekend". In the week I asked him for some help with night feeds, as 5 months of night feeds are really taking their toll on me now. I wanted him to do it up to 1am if she woke and I would do the ones after 1am, he's up til then half the time anyway. Long story short, he said No. Because he has to work the next day whereas I dont. Thats what I was in the huff for the other night. I didnt think it was bothering me but it obviously is and we talked about it again tonight and he has agreed to do it up til 1am. Why did it take an argument though ? If I went out to clean soeones house or look after their children or do their cooking, and got paid for it, would he think that was a proper job ? All I've felt since he said no to me is unappreciated and taken for granted,

Phew. Rant over. Sorry ddidnt mean for that to happen.
